The team is still on the hunt of the psychopath who has used their personal information to embroil them in the mystery behind a missing girl.

The team races to save a young boy from being auctioned off online to a pedopohile.

Episode 3. The Perfect Storm (Air Date: 10/04/2006)

A family is horrified to open a picture CD that they think will be photos of their daughter's vacation, and instead see a video of her getting raped and beaten. She is found dead under a bridge a day later. The BAU team hears about a second family that this has happened to, and believe a two-person killing team is responsible.

Episode 4. Psychodrama (Air Date: 10/11/2006)

A bank robber forces his hostages to undress before leaving the scene. The team is called in when his behavior continues to escalate and becomes abusive. Hotchner deals with personal issues with his wife and child.

Episode 5. Aftermath (Air Date: 10/18/2006)

The team tracks a serial killer who recently changed his MO. Elle is faced with a difficult decision that could end her career.

Episode 6. The Boogeyman (Air Date: 10/25/2006)

Elle faces the consequences of her actions and continues to deal with the aftermath of the attack in her home. The team tracks a child murderer in a small Texas town.

Episode 7. North Mammon (Air Date: 11/01/2006)

Three girls from a small college town disappear and JJ gives the team insight since she's from a small town.

Episode 8. Empty Planet (Air Date: 11/08/2006)

A Professor who has written a science fiction book helps the team figure out how a bomber is choosing his sites.

Episode 9. The Last Word (Air Date: 11/15/2006)

Two serial killers compete with each other in St. Louis. When the team starts to figure things out, the killers help each other and use the media complicating the investigation. Meanwhile, a new agent, Emily Prentiss, arrives but neither Gideon or Hotchner has signed off on her.

Episode 10. Lessons Learned (Air Date: 11/22/2006)

Agent Prentiss gets to come along on her first case with the team. They go to Guantanamo Bay to interrogate a terrorist to determine where he is planning to attack with the weaponized anthrax he has acquired.

Episode 11. Sex, Birth, Death (Air Date: 11/29/2006)

A vigilante starts killing prostitutes when he feels that his efforts to clean up the city and get the prostitutes off the streets aren't being appreciated. Meanwhile, a young man who is having thoughts about stabbing women seeks out Reid to help him understand his thoughts and fix them.

Episode 12. Profiler, Profiled (Air Date: 12/13/2006)

Morgan is at home in Chicago visiting his mother for her birthday when a young boy is murdered. The local police believe that Derek murdered him as well as two other boys in the past.

Episode 13. No Way Out (Air Date: 01/17/2007)

Gideon and the team go to Nevada to help apprehend the man who could be the most prolific serial killer ever. The local authorities want to go in and take action, but Gideon doesn't want to take the chance that the killer will keep another secret from them so he convinces the locals to let him talk to the suspect.

Episode 14. The Big Game (Air Date: 02/04/2007)

A mission-based serial killer begins killing "sinners" after the Super Bowl game. Garcia discovers that they are using the Internet and technology to video their victims. The team must determine how many unsubs they are dealing with and apprehend them.

Episode 15. Revelations (Air Date: 02/07/2007)

The BAU team must rescue Reid from their serial killer. The killer broadcasts the torture of Reid over the Internet. Reid tries to communicate with the team to help them find and rescue him.

Episode 16. Fear and Loathing (Air Date: 02/14/2007)

When a couple of teenagers are killed in the park in an upscale New York neighborhood, the BAU is called in to investigate. The team works to determine whether the murders were racially driven.

Episode 17. Distress (Air Date: 02/21/2007)

The BAU goes to Houston to investigate a string of murders on construction sites. Initially the team thinks they are dealing with a homeless man who is against the construction in the neighborhood.

Episode 18. Jones (Air Date: 02/28/2007)

A serial killer who was believed to have died in Hurricane Katrina resurfaces and sends a letter to the lead detective on the case. The detective was killed in the hurricane, so his son has taken over the case. He brings the BAU in for help. Meanwhile, Reid continues to struggle with the aftermath of the hostage situation and he meets up with an old schoolmate.

Episode 19. Ashes and Dust (Air Date: 03/21/2007)

An arsonist is setting fires and killing people. The team must determine the link between the fires. They connect the victims through corporate development firms accused of building on contaminated land and are led to a radical environmental group that uses fire to get their message across.

Episode 20. Honor Among Thieves (Air Date: 04/11/2007)

Agent Prentiss' mother asks the team to investigate the kidnapping of a Russian man who is being held for ransom. The victim's daughter is initially helpful, but then evades the BAU and takes the body parts the captors sent with her leading the team to determine that she was involved in the kidnapping.

Episode 21. Open Season (Air Date: 05/02/2007)

The team determines that the victims are being taken into the woods so that the killers can hunt them. One victim decides to challenge the killers at their own game. The team arrives in time to help her out.

Episode 22. Legacy (Air Date: 05/09/2007)

A detective travels from Kansas to the BAU to request their help after he's discovered that 63 homeless people in his district have disappeared. The team is reluctant to take the case as the people haven't been officially reported missing and the chief of detectives doesn't want their help.


When the elusive serial killer, Frank shows up at Gideon's apartment and kills his friend and takes Gideon's list of people he's saved, Gideon must find Frank before Frank hurts anyone else. Frank refuses to stop until he has his girlfriend, Jane back. The team must find Jane as well as the young girl Frank has kidnapped. Meanwhile, Hotchner faces scrutiny from his superiors and may lose his position at the BAU.
