Jordan tries to tie the murder of a woman, the body is found out in the ocean, to her husband after over a decade's absence. Peter is traumatized when he must identify his wife's body at the morgue.

Detective Hoyt follows leads in the death of his mentor to Los Angeles. Episode was supposed to help spur a spin-off series "Sunset Division" for the 2003-2004 season, but the pilot was not picked up to series.

Episode 21. Pandora's Trunk (Part 1) (Air Date: 04/28/2003)

Woody tries to solve a triple homicide by pulling together clues and linking the three murdered people to a fourth person. A call from a P.I. sets Jordan back onto the trail of her mother's killer and brings her back into contact with her brother.

Episode 22. Pandora's Trunk (Part 2) (Air Date: 05/05/2003)

Jordan chases the truth behind her mother's death that both her brother and her father seem to be keeping from her. Woody searches for a cop-killer and gets a new partner for this quest.
