Episode 1. Pilot (Air Date: NA)

In the opener, Trevor (Bobby Cannavale)---who believes he's Cupid, the Roman god of love---is released from a three-month stint in a mental institution on condition that he attends a therapy group led by psychiatrist Claire McCrae (Sarah Paulson). He picks up with the same case that put him in the lockup: connecting a street musician (Sean Maguire) with his true love, whom he briefly met in a Dublin pub.

Trevor plays matchmaker with Claire's friend Riley (Julie Ann Emery)and a private investigator (Erik Palladino) who snooped on her relationship with a married man. Felix, meanwhile, falls heads over heels for Lita's new boyfriend's mother. Mira: Mary Stuart Masterson.

A teen (Colton James) asks Trevor to help match his liberal mom (Constance Zimmer) with his boxing instructor/sperm donor-father (Lee Tergesen), but the man's Republican beliefs may stand in the way. In other events, Claire's free-spirited mom (Julie Hagerty) moves in with her after a breakup with her boyfriend. Josie: Anna Chlumsky.

After Claire's apartment is burglarized, Trevor tries to match a former jewel thief-turned-locksmith with the man's parole officer, who doesn't believe criminals are capable of changing their ways. A shaken Claire, meanwhile, leans on Trevor for support; and Trevor shares with her information about his relationship with his parents, Venus and Mars.

Episode 5. Shipping Out (Air Date: NA)

Trevor tries to arrange a match between an Iraq vet (Patrick J. Adams) who's a patient of Claire's and the man's high-school crush (Aubrey Dollar), who's a caterer in Louisiana. Later, Claire comes to grips with one of her fears: fast-dancing in public.

Trevor plays matchmaker for a radio deejay (Mather Zickel) and one of his listeners, a woman (Alexie Gilmore) with a 13-year-old son, going so far as to have indie-pop artist Robert Harrison (from Future Clouds and Radar) to perform on their first date. Meanwhile, Claire falls for the statistician who's helping her develop a test that connects potential mates by their commonalities.

The Season 1 finale finds Claire hiring a dialect expert to glean information about Trevor from his speech patterns. Trevor, in turn, uses the man to help refine a Queens masseuse (Kerry Butler) so that she's a better match for her sophisticated beau. Meanwhile, Lita and Felix discover a long-overdue library book in Trevor's room that may provide a clue about his identity. Lance Stillwell: Paul Fitzgerald.
