Season 2 Episodes
Episode 1. Next (Air Date: 09/25/2005)

Mike must rescue Susan when she is being held hostage by Zach. Lynette interviews for a job at an ad agency with a tough younger woman who does not like women who left work to have families. Bree must deal both with Rex's funeral and his mother. Gabrielle pays Carlos a visit in jail.


Bree suffers from her mother-in-law's obnoxious style of grieving. What she doesn't know is that her own lack of exterior emotion is leading people to believe she was the one responsible for Rex's death.


Phyllis makes Bree out to be a suspect in Rex's death, causing Bree to send her packing. Bree must take a lie detector test to prove her innocence, and while it shows her to not be lying about being innocent of Rex's death, it shows she has deeper feelings for George than she suspected.

Episode 4. My Heart Belongs to Daddy (Air Date: 10/16/2005)

Gabrielle causes a prison riot while visiting Carlos and loses their lawyer. She hires a new one, who is actually a slimy shark who is trying to get Gabrielle into bed with him by sowing the seeds of doubt about her marriage, although he does manage to get her a conjugal visit with Carlos.


Susan's friend and agent, Lonny Moon, comes to her with news that he has left the literary agency he is with. It turns out he was embezzling money from both the agency and his clients.

Episode 6. I Wish I Could Forget You (Air Date: 11/06/2005)

Susan goes to the police to try and get them to pick up Paul Young for the murder of Ms. Huber, offering up the fact that Mike has diaries of Mrs. Huber's that could incriminate Paul.


Mike separates himself further from Susan. Susan finds herself in bed with her ex-husband, Karl. The Scavos are alienated from the Harpers after their boys show the new boys a sex tape that mommy and daddy made. George proposes to Bree. Bree reluctantly says yes, but changes her mind when he shows her off to his whole family. George attacks her therapist for intervening.

Episode 8. The Sun Won't Set (Air Date: 11/20/2005)

The neighbors are panicked about the intruder loose on Wisteria Lane, Susan learns shocking news about her father at her mother's wedding, Bree's "engagement" to George hits a bump, and Gabrielle learns to let go.

Episode 9. That's Good, That's Bad (Air Date: 11/27/2005)

Bree finds herself being stalked by George, even though she is frantically trying to rid him from her life. Caleb gets an offer of help from Betty. Susan attempts to connect with the birth father she never knew and Lynette begins to assert herself more at the advertising agency. Meanwhile, Gabrielle is irked by Carlos' new confidante after he comes home from prison on parole with a new outlook on life.

Episode 10. Coming Home (Air Date: 12/04/2005)

Lynette tries to get company employees to put their children in a new daycare center at Parcher & Murphy she plans to flesh out. Gabrielle and a nun find themselves differing in opinion over the merits of Carlos' transformation, which is leading him on a charitable trip to Africa.

Episode 11. One More Kiss (Air Date: 01/08/2006)

Lynette fumes when Gabrielle kisses Tom in the heat of the moment. The housewives begin to suspect things about Betty and her son. Meanwhile, Mike is ambushed by Paul, while Bree must fend off an extortion scheme by Andrew.

Episode 12. We're Gonna Be All Right (Air Date: 01/15/2006)

After a number of disastrous dates, Susan finally meets Dr. Right. Old photos of Gabrielle turn up on the internet.


Gabrielle and her arch-enemy, Sister Mary Bernard square off while Dr. Ron informs Susan that she will need surgery and Bree and Betty discover that they have a lot more in common than they thought.

Episode 14. Silly People (Air Date: 02/12/2006)

Tom eats a donut out of a toilet to try and get "in" with his new boss. Susan agrees to marry Karl for his insurance since her policy lapsed.

Episode 15. Thank You So Much (Air Date: 02/19/2006)

When Karl and Susan plan to get married for insurance purposes, Edie thinks Karl is planning to propose to her.

Episode 16. There Is No Other Way (Air Date: 03/12/2006)

There may be a problem in Carlos and Gaby's adoption process. Susan goes in for surgery.

Episode 17. Could I Ever Leave You? (Air Date: 03/26/2006)

Susan has Karl and Dr. Ron meet. Eva and Carlos search for a baby. Bree starts AA.

Episode 18. Everybody Says Don't (Air Date: 04/02/2006)

The truth comes out about Carlos and Gaby's baby. Paul must own up to his actions. Lynette is summoned to report about Bree's drinking.

Episode 19. Don't Look At Me (Air Date: 04/16/2006)

Carlos and Gaby get temporary custody of baby Lily, Bree’s father and stepmother come to town to mediate between Andrew and her, and Susan suddenly finds Karl back in her life/

Episode 20. It Wasn't Meant to Happen (Air Date: 04/30/2006)

Karl leaves Edie for Susan, Lily's father shows up to take her away from Carlos and Gaby, Lynette makes the mistake of trying to help Ed with his sex life, and Bree discovers Peter has more than one unhealthy addiction.

Episode 21. I Know Things Now (Air Date: 05/07/2006)

Edie's private detective uncovers the details of Karl and Susan's relationship, forcing Susan to take desperate measures. When Bree becomes picky about who is invited to dinner, Andrew discovers an evil way to get back at her: tempting her sex-addict boyfriend.

Episode 22. No One Is Alone (Air Date: 05/14/2006)

Edie confesses to Susan that she did burn down her house on purpose. Lynette follows Tom to Atlantic City to see if he is having an affair. Carlos makes Gaby jealous by giving lots of attention to Xiao-Mei, who is pregnant with the Solis's baby. Felicia Tilman continues harassing Paul Young. Bree checks herself into a mental institution.

Episode 23. Remember (Air Date: 05/21/2006)

Lynette learns that Tom was not cheating on her. However, Tom discovered that he impregnanted a woman on a one-night stand twelve years ago, before he met Lynette.
