Episode 1. Over (Air Date: 09/21/2004)

J.T. and Shelly have a heart-to-heart talk to see if they can salvage their relationship, but Shelly discovers that J.T. wants nothing less than a complete makeover from her. Meanwhile, Nick grudgingly offers congratulations when Donovan explains that his newfound attraction for Rita has been reciprocated.

Episode 2. Self Helpless (Air Date: 09/28/2004)

Shelly reads a self-help book that sells her on the idea of being alone for awhile in order to get over her breakup with J.T.

Episode 3. All My Exes Havin' Sexes (Air Date: 10/05/2004)

Shelly ignores Janie and Rita's warning to stay away from J.T., but after a moment of weakness which lands them back in bed together, she realizes it feels like their all-too familiar relationship which went south in the first place.

Episode 4. The Hate-Trix Reloaded (Air Date: 10/12/2004)

Tensions heat up between Shelly and J.T. when she sends him an e-mail asking that he give back all of her possessions.

Episode 5. Footloose (Air Date: 10/19/2004)

When an ill-fated exercise routine does Shelly's knee in, Shelly begrudgingly goes to J.T. for some physical therapy, but after an attractive doctor asks her out on a date, J.T.'s jealous instincts lead him to try and hamper the date by offering Shelly some really poor medical advice.

Episode 6. Splice of Life (Air Date: 10/26/2004)

When Rita gets evicted, she goes to stay with Janie and the two bond over their shared Cajun backgrounds, which makes Shelly feel somewhat stuck on the outside looking in.

Episode 7. Friend or Foe? (Air Date: 11/09/2004)

Shelly and J.T. have a blowup that spoils a night at the movies for Janie, Rita, Nick, and Donovan, but Shelly's new friend Claudia thinks she should get a little payback on J.T..

Episode 8. Love TKO (Air Date: 11/23/2004)

Shelly's impending date with new man Adrian is thrown in jeopardy when she meets a handsome boxer beforehand. Meanwhile, in order to keep Rita from staying with her, Shelly must foster a little peace between a feuding Rita and Janie while those two share a living space.

Episode 9. Above Average Joe (Air Date: 11/30/2004)

Janie must intervene and keep the peace when Shelly and Rita go all out in a bid to land the handsome and very single Joe. Meanwhile, J.T. attempts celibacy in order to be with a woman who wants to wait to have sex.

Episode 10. Dateless in Miami (Air Date: 12/14/2004)

Shelly violates the rule of allowing dates to come along on the annual New Year's Eve with the girls, so the rest of the male gang tags along and everyone shares horror stories of past New Year's Eve dates.


Shelly and the girls' excitement over Brooke Burke's decision to wear one of their dresses to a red carpet affair is quashed when fashion expert Robert Verdi trashes the outfit on television. Meanwhile, Nick's new piano teacher, J.T.'s mom Frances, is a real tough teacher, which makes him wish he'd never taken up the instrument.

Episode 12. Breast in Show (Air Date: 01/11/2005)

Shelly decides to put in a pair of "falsies" as she readies for a date, and the reaction from men is so strong she considers getting breast impants, a thought which sparks some heated conversation with the girls. Meanwhile, J.T. and Donovan decide to rid Nick of his tendency to never pick up a check.

Episode 13. Kung Fu Divas (Air Date: 02/08/2005)

A friendly competition arises between Shelly and Rita when Rita proves to be more a of a match for Shelly during their self-defense training. Meanwhile, Donovan starts dating a zestful older woman, but his efforts to hook Nick and J.T. up with her friends offer up some complications.

Episode 14. Wheeling and Dealing (Air Date: 02/15/2005)

When she is busted for using a handicapped-only parking space, Shelly must pretend to be handicapped in order to try and persuade the wheelchair-bound department store owner, with whom she has been negotiating, to carry her DivaStyle clothing line. Meanwhile, Rita is given some harsh stipulations by Nick and J.T for staying in their house.

Episode 15. If the Shrew Fits (Air Date: 02/22/2005)

Shelly and Rita's young, obnoxious stepmother have a row while they are all out together, but when Shelly realizes the incident could have dire consequences for Rita's needed financial assistance from her family, she must suck up her pride and apologize. Meanwhile, after Nick learns that back in college, J.T. hooked up with his ex-girlfriend, he decides to get a little revenge on J.T. by hitting on Shelly.

Episode 16. Prom Night (Air Date: 03/01/2005)

Eve consents to going on a "mercy date" with a younger man, but the novelty of the act soon wears off when she really falls for the guy over the course of the evening.

Episode 17. Moral Minority (Air Date: 03/29/2005)

Shelly and Rita discover that Shelly had a little thing with former high school classmate Troy and decide that Shelly is no longer in a position to give them lectures about bad behavior. Meanwhile, J.T. and Nick suspect Donovan of hiding something from them.

Episode 18. Real Women Have Nerves (Air Date: 04/19/2005)

Shelly wants to impress Grant by cooking for him, but as her cooking skills are to be desired, she decides to enlist a little help from her friends. Meanwhile, J.T. and Nick try to deal with customer service reps based in India in order to fix their satellite radio.

Episode 19. Testing, Testing, HIV (Air Date: 04/26/2005)

Grant decides to get serious with Shelly and tells her he's going to take an HIV test, which prompts the group to all go get tests as well. The gesture, however, suddenly makes J.T. realize he still loves Shelly.

Episode 20. Resident Aliens (Air Date: 05/03/2005)

When Coleman's hair salon goes belly up, the ladies let him set up his business at Divastyle, only his demanding attitude begin to make them wish they'd never offered him the arrangement. Meanwhile, after a raid for illegal immigrants is made in Z Lounge, the group learns some previously unknown facts about Donovan.

Episode 21. Taken for Grant-ed (Air Date: 05/10/2005)

While on a camping trip with Grant, Shelly begins to have doubts that his quiet, sensible lifestyle is right for her. J.T., meanwhile, knows that Shelly is the one and decides to tell her that he loves her.

Episode 22. Stay Tuned (Air Date: 05/24/2005)

After seeing Janie helping Grant pick an engagement ring, J.T. turns to his parents for advice. This results in a showdown between him and Grant at Shelly's birthday.
