Season 3 Episodes

Brian decides to try helping others and becomes a drug sniffing dog, but winds up addicted to cocaine. The family cancels a vacation to support Brian in rehab, where they are informed that Peter is a bad influence on Brian.


Brian takes a crack at Hollywood, but winds up directing a porn film. He tries to hide it from the Griffins when he is nominated for a Woody award, but is surprised to find their support for him.


Peter's company is bought by a tobacco company, who sends him to Washington to lobby against a bill that poses a threat. Lois catches Stewie smoking and heads to Washington hereslf to stop the lobby, eventually getting the company fined a large sum.


A hurricane strikes Quohog, so englishmen Nigel Pinchley opts to rebuild the Drunken Clam into a British-style pub; he also moves his family next door to the Griffins.

Episode 5. And the Wiener is... (Air Date: 08/08/2001)

Peter becomes threatened by Chris's penis size and tries to overcompensate elsewhere; Meg joins the cheerleaders in a vain attempt to become popular.

Episode 6. Death Lives (Air Date: 08/15/2001)

Peter is struck by lighting and visited by Death, who shows him that he must spend more time with Lois on their anniversary.

Episode 7. Lethal Weapons (Air Date: 08/22/2001)

Lois is talked into trying Tae-Jitsu, which she quickly succeeds at and finds her violent side following her into the household, leading to an all-out brawl.


Meg gets an internship in broadcasting and finds herself in a life-threatening situation, so she agrees to kiss her nerdy co-worker Neil, which he broadcasts on national television to her horror.

Episode 9. Mr. Saturday Knight (Air Date: 09/05/2001)

When Peter's boss dies, the factory closes costing him his job; subsequently he finds a job jousting at the renaissance faire.

Episode 10. A Fish Out of Water (Air Date: 09/19/2001)

Peter decides to become a fisherman and hands over nearly all of his assets to secure the loan; Megan and Lois enjoy spring break at the beach.

Episode 11. Emission Impossible (Air Date: 11/08/2001)

When Peter and Lois discuss having another child, Stewie strongly objects and shrinks hinself, entering Peter's body to destroy his sperm supply.

Episode 12. To Live and Die in Dixie (Air Date: 11/15/2001)

The family goes into witness protection in a small Southern town after Chris identifies a robber at a police lineup.

Episode 13. Screwed The Pooch (Air Date: 11/29/2001)

Brian impregnantes the dog of another family, and then tries to sue them for custody of the pups.


Chris explores his heritage and learns that he has an African-American ancestor, the Peterschmidts reveal a secret to Peter and pay him to keep his mouth shut about it.


When Joe loses confidence in his abilities as a police officer, Peter trains him for a race in the special olympics and spikes his drink with steroids so he will win.


Peter accidentally gives all the Christmas presents away, forcing the family to go shopping on Christmas Eve; Brian accidentally burns Christmas dinner.


Brian gets arrested for drunk driving and is ordered to care for an old woman, who becomes the love of his life; Peter grows a beard which yields to a bizarre use.

Episode 18. From Method to Madness (Air Date: 01/24/2002)

Stewie enters the Quahog School of Performing Arts; Peter rescues a drowning swimmer who is in fact a nudist.


Peter becomes jealous when Lois rekindles an old friendship; Stewie and Brian accidentally glue themselves together.

Episode 20. Road to Europe (Air Date: 02/07/2002)

Brian and Stewie wind up on a plane to Saudi Arabia; Peter and Lois wind up hanging out with Kiss.

Episode 21. Family Guy Viewer Mail #1 (Air Date: 02/14/2002)

Brian fields questions from viewer's mail over a three-segment episode.


A successful jew visits Peter, who then tries to get Chris to convert to Judaism.
