Benny forgets to put out her cigarette and burns down her house, forcing George and his family to take her in. Carmen wants to marry Jason and have a baby so they can be together.


George impersonates Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa to deal with a malicious biker, but then receives an unexpected visit from the real Mayor.


Since Benny lost her car when her house burned down, she has George and Angie drive her around. However, Benny does some driving of her own by drivng the both of them crazy.

Episode 5. Trick or Treat Me Right (Air Date: 10/26/2005)

As Benny grows more abusive and her behavior worsens, George loses his ability to laugh things off and threatens that he might make some changes.


After realizing how difficult it is for Ernie to live with his parents, George urges him to get his own place.


Max starts having bad dreams because of a scary incident at school, but after George decides to take him to see a doctor, the doctor comes to learn that Max's troubling thoughts are really the result of George's inability to make time for his son.


George regrets peeking at a 10-year-old, unopened letter from Angie when some secrets are revealed that should have stayed hidden.


Benny decides to get oversized breast implants to make herself look younger.


George and Angie enter into a contest to prove which one of them is more helpful around the house and in the marriage.


George ends up spending Christmas all by himself after he gets caught telling a lie to get out of spending the holiday with Angie's family.

Episode 12. George Enrolls Like That (Air Date: 01/25/2006)

After he's outed at a special school assembly, George signs up for college when he catches Max skipping out of school in an effort to be a positive role model.


George hide the fact that he dropped out of school from his family, but when his professor stops in, his cover is blown.


Max needs surgery to avoid kidney disease in the future.


When George and Angie's ex-sister-in-law dies, her daughter plus her inheritance become George's responsibility.


George finds out that his niece has a personal webcam business and not the restaurant job she claimed so George tells her she'll have to work at the factory with him. Unfortunately for George, she gets his boss wrapped around her finger. Crafty George, however, finds a way to get her to choose to do her work.


Angie's brother comes back, and George doesn't trust him.


In order to avoid getting fired, George helps Ernie lose weight.


George pretends to be Max to ensure the woman he's dating online isn't going to hurt him.


George helps Angie plan a difficult client's wedding.


Benny finds out that George tampered with the factory's productivity contest outcome.


The police want to ask Benny about an old robbery, but she takes off to avoid that.
