Episode 1. The Long Morrow (Air Date: 09/26/2006)

As Rory tries to figure out the meaning of the curious gift Logan left for her, Lorelai copes with ending her relationship with Luke and her mixed feelings about sleeping with Christopher.


Luke tells T.J. and Liz about breaking up with Lorelai and they quickly become sympathetic; Lane comes back from a bad, bad honeymoon; Lorelai runs into Luke in town and he makes it clear that he's mad at her; Lorelai tries to cheer up Rory by decorating the house with an Asian theme; but when she is overcome by grief about Luke, mother finally tells daughter what happened, only, Rory is enraged by the news that Lorelai slept with Christopher.

Episode 3. Lorelai's First Cotillion (Air Date: 10/10/2006)

Lorelai realizes that she has always done the opposite of what her parents wanted and that some of those things weren't really so bad; Rory and Logan have some trouble maintaining their long-distance relationship; Christopher reveals a bombshell to Lorelai.

Episode 4. 'S Wonderful, 'S Marvelous (Air Date: 10/17/2006)

Rory is uncomfortable with Lorelai dating Christopher, but that doesn't stop Lorelai from spending the night with him; Rory gets back to work at the paper, where her first assignment is at an art show; Emily is arrested and Lorelai is the one to bail her out.

Episode 5. The Great Stink (Air Date: 10/24/2006)

Lorelai and Christopher attend Friday dinner together and end up arguing over sending Gigi to Paris to meet her mom; Logan surprises Rory, but she worries about one of his sexy co-workers. Meanwhile, an overturned pickle truck stinks up Stars Hollow.

Episode 6. Go, Bulldogs! (Air Date: 11/07/2006)

Christopher and Lorelai surprise Rory at Yale during parents' weekend and learn some things about their daughter during a lunch filled with too much alcohol. Meanwhile, Luke takes an adult swimming class and asks out the instructor, who just happens to be April's swimming coach.

Episode 7. French Twist (Air Date: 11/14/2006)

Rory steps down as the Yale editor and ponders her future... as an actual adult. She's depressed even more when she runs into an old friend, Marty, who happens to be Lucy's boyfriend but pretends he doesn't know Rory; Lane tells Mrs.


Lorelai contrives to get Rory over for dinner so that she and Christopher can drop a bombshell on their unsuspecting daughter: they got married in Paris. Meanwhile, Rory writes a scathing review of Logan's internet company's launch party, prompting her to move out of his apartment. And, Luke needs Lorelai to help him when April has a medical emergency.

Episode 9. Knit, People, Knit! (Air Date: 11/28/2006)

Christopher tries to fit in with the Stars Hollow regulars, but his well-intentioned act at the annual Knit-A-Thon causes the event to come to an abrupt end. Meanwhile, Rory confronts Marty; and, Luke gets in Anna's face after learning of her plans to move with April to New Mexico.

Episode 10. Merry Fisticuffs (Air Date: 12/05/2006)

When Christopher sees Lorelai and Luke sharing a tender moment over Liz's baby he develops concern about her commitment to the marriage; Luke finally gets in touch with an attorney to help with his pending custody battle; Christopher and Luke have an altercation in front of everybody in Stars Hollow; Logan blows Rory and Marty's cover story about never having met; and, Emily delivers a stern warni

Episode 11. Santa's Secret Stuff (Air Date: 01/23/2007)

Lorelai, Rory, Christopher and G.G. celebrate Christmas after the start of the new year, after Rory returns from Paris. Meanwhile, Luke approaches Lorelai and asks her to write a letter on his behalf in his custody battle for April.

Episode 12. To Whom It May Concern (Air Date: 01/30/2007)

Noticing Sookie's recent odd behavior, Lorelai forces Jackson to tell her the reason. Luke and Anna attend a hearing to decide their custody battle over April.


Lorelai and Rory receive unexpected comfort and some grief while at the hospital and at Richard's side: Christopher won't return Lorelai's calls, but Luke is there for her and the family; Emily is so distraught that she tries to distract herself by maintaining her rigorous social calendar, with Luke offering to help her out in keeping up her appearances; Rory is met by Logan, who flies to the hosp

Episode 14. Farewell, My Pet (Air Date: 02/13/2007)

Rory quickly develops a crush on Richard's replacement TA and feels compelled to confess the attraction to Logan. But she feels really bad about it and he completely understands and the two of them reassure each other that in the end they are crazy about each other.

Episode 15. I'm A Kayak, Hear Me Roar (Air Date: 02/20/2007)

Lorelai has trouble telling her parents about the end of her marriage to Christopher, instead getting distracted by the new healthy lifestyle Emily wants to impose upon Richard.


Rory goes to meet with an editor from the New York Times, just as she starts to put together Lane's baby shower. Lorelai takes over the production and has to arbitrate a disagreement between Lane and Mrs. Kim about how to raise the unborn child. Meanwhile, Luke decides to change his situation in life and buy a new boat; Logan comes home drunk and reveals to Rory his failed business venture, and then runs off to Las Vegas with his buddies.

Episode 17. Gilmore Girls Only (Air Date: 03/06/2007)

Lorelai and Rory are joined by Emily on a road trip to their friend Mia's wedding. There, Emily fumes over Mia's relationship with her daughter and granddaughter; Rory confronts Logan over his buffoonery after his internet business troubles. Meanwhile, Zach seeks out Luke for advice on how to be a parent and adopts him as a surrogate father, just before Lane delivers her baby.

Episode 18. Hay Bale Maze (Air Date: 04/17/2007)

It's the Stars Hollow Spring Fling festival, and Taylor has gummed up the whole affair by blowing the budget on a ridiculous hay bale maze. While wondering through the maze, Luke and Lorelai run into each other and admit their mistakes in their relationship.


Luke and Lorelai start spending more time together, but it is tense and awkward, though Lorelai takes that as a good sign. Meanwhile, Paris receives acceptance letters from practically ever medical and law school she applied to, while Rory receives a shocking rejection letter from the New York Times.

Episode 20. Lorelai? Lorelai? (Air Date: 05/01/2007)

Rory sulks in Stars Hollow following her rejection letter from the New York Times and Lorelai takes it upon herself to cheer up her daughter. Meanwhile, Luke and April's boat trip is canceled; Lane realizes she has to stay home and care for the babies instead of go out on tour; Lorelai notices that Luke's wearing the hat she got him and winds up singing to him a karaoke version of "I Will Always

Episode 21. Unto the Breach (Air Date: 05/08/2007)

Emily and Richard throw Rory a graduation party, where they sing for her "You're The Top." At the same party, Logan proposes to Rory in front of all her friends and family, but she hesitates to answer.

Episode 22. Bon Voyage (Air Date: 05/15/2007)

Rory meets her idol, CNN reporter Christiane Amanpour just before she gets a job as a reporter following Barack Obama's presidential campaign. But she has to start right away, meaning that she and Lorelai won't be able to go on their trip to various amusement parks.
