First Mona gets dumped when her date thinks she's not ethnic enough, then Spencer tries to convince people she's Scary Spice so she can gain admission to a DMX performance.


Dee Dee learns that her new beau used to date Mona in high school.


Mona thinks Dee Dee is trying to change her to fit in with her highbrow friends.


Grandma Thorne plays favorites during Thanksgiving. Spencer spills one of Mona's secrets to her mother.


Mona and Dee set Spencer up on a blind date.


Dee Dee and her new boyfriend have problems with intimacy, prompting him to reveal to her that he is celibate.


After Mona and Spencer meet up with Olivia, an old college friend, Spencer has a one-night stand with Olivia prompting Mona and Dee Dee to suggest he get an AIDS test.


Mona is pursued by two former boyfriends on Valentine's Day.


Mona goes on a date with a music journalist, only her negative remarks about one of her label's artists get printed in a music magazine, which leads to her getting fired.


Mona, now with a bad reputation in the music business, looks for work. Feeling guilty over the article which contained Mona's comments about Big Phat Slim Jim, the article's reporter sets up a meeting for Mona to plead her case to the artist and get her job back.


Dee Dee has a streak of bad luck while Mona's luck turns for the better, prompting Dee Dee to use Mona's help to get herself back on track.


Mona dates a model who's attractive yet dim, but her efforts to hide him go awry when the couple is invited to her father's big political dinner.


After dragging her sister to her self-defense class, Mona accidentally injures Dee Dee doing a back flip, but unbeknownst to Mona, she is playing up the injury to get a little guilt-ridden pampering.


Mona begins to ask herself questions about her relationship with Spencer after haviing an erotic dream about him, but Dee Dee, assuming the dream was about a woman, tries to set Mona up with a lesbian friend.


When Mona asks Spencer to pose as her boyfriend at a party, he realizes he has, and always had, feelings for her since their college days. Meanwhile, Dee Dee breaks up with her marriage-minded boyfriend.


Big Dee Dee treats Dee Dee to a spa weekend, and Phyllis and Mona try to match them by doing the same thing and end up right next door to their room. While there, Mona accidentally wishes aloud that her mother could more resemble Phyllis.


Mona and Dee Dee become feuding neighbors until their father's medical scare makes them see the foolishness of fighting with one another.
