Miley's paternal grandmother visits. Miley gets upset because her grandmother spends more attention on her brother Jackson. Jackson plays in a volleyball tournament.
Miley dresses like a mannequin in order to spy on her father, who is notorious for his bad taste in fashion when buying Miley presents.
Lilly wants to spend more time with Miley, so she decides to join cheerleading. However when Miley ends up being the mascot, they end up spending more time apart. Jackson willingly volunteers to unclog the sink in order to get some money from his father.
Miley and Lily are sick of their two snotty classmates, Ashley and Amber. Unfortunately, they get paired up with them to share a tent on the class camping trip. They decide to get even, but accidentally end up with poison oak, just in time for Hannah Montana's big TV interview. Jackson and Robby try and catch a mouse that hides in the piano and can play music.
Miley is paired up with Oliver in drama class. They are supposed to do a Shakespearean scene, by Oliver goofs off during practice and keeps forgetting the words. This frustrates Miley, until she forgets the words to The Star Spangled Banner at a televised basketball game. Jackson becomes addicted to sweets when he tries to keep them away from Rico.
Hannah Montana gets an email from a girl at Miley's school who likes Oliver. Miley and Lilly convince Oliver to ask her out, which he does. But then when the girl writes to Hannah again, Oliver wishes the two girls had never meddled in the first place.
Miley realizes her father gave up his career when he had kids, so she arranges for him to be able to go back on tour. However, having him away from home is difficult for her and Jackson.
Miley is waiting for Hannah Montana's first billboard to come out. Meanwhile, Lilly's dog eats her contacts, forcing her to wear her un-flattering glasses during a skateboarding contest. Miley tries to convince her friend that looks don't matter...that is, until she sees the huge zit that was added to her billboard picture.
A hot young celebrity who starts going to Miley's school gets special attention and treatment, making Miley jealous. When a news reporter comes to school, Miley admits that she is Hannah Montana to her. She immediately regrets it and must find away to take back what she said.
Jake Ryan asks Miley to go to the school dance with him. She declines, thinking he's full of himself. Later, Hannah Montana has a scene with Jake on his TV show and finds out that he actually does like her. Miley decides that she likes Jake, but by then he has already asked Lily. Meanwhile, Jackson and Robbie play pranks on each other.
Miley's Aunt Dolly is in town. She accidently videotapes Miley talking about her true feelings for Jake Ryan. Then, Oliver accidently switches the tape with the tape that Jake is editing for the school. Aunt Dolly, Lilly, and Miley must sneak into the school and switch them back.
Miley's cousin Luann, who looks exactly like her, comes to visit. Miley believes that Luann is out to get her, but nobody agrees with her. However, Luann switches places with her and tries to expose Miley's and Hannah's biggest secret. Meanwhile, Robbie and Jackson try and make their house the best decorated on the street.
Miley sees Jake with an actress named Holly and gets jealous. She then tries to make Jake jealous by dating a senior named Willis. Meanwhile, Jackson tries to get a better grade by getting Robbie to date his teacher.
Miley, Lilly, and Oliver team up to try and beat Amber and Ashley at raising money for the school's charity fundraiser. Meanwhile, Jackson asks for Cooper's help so that he can try to beat Robbie at ping-pong.
Robbie gives Miley and Jackson credit cards for emergency use only. Miley can't handle the temptation and winds up going on a shopping spree at the flea market. She has to ask Jackson for help in selling some of Hannah Montana's things.
A sneaky paparazzo follows Miley and Jackson home from a Hannah Montana concert and snaps a photo of them, causing everyone to think that Hannah and Jackson are a couple. The attention, though strange, goes to Jackson's head. Meanwhile, Oliver and Sarah work together on a "flour baby" project. Oliver thinks he has feelings for Sarah, but finds they have very little in common.
Miley gets Jackson fired from his job at Rico's, so she offers to hire him as her personal assistant. Jackson's turns out to be more stressful than helpful.
A new girl called "The Cracker" harasses Miley. She turns to Roxy for ideas on how to get her to stop. Meanwhile, Robbie and Jackson get stuck in a blizzard during their fishing trip.
Hannah Montana is to be on the television show "Singing With The Stars" where the winner gets to perform with her on live television. At school, Amber has humiliated Miley and Lilly once again. When they overhear that Amber is trying out for the the TV show, Miley and Lilly come up with a plan to get their revenge on national television. Meanwhile, Jackson and Robbie deal with a noisy dog next door.
Miley commit to endorse a new perfume. Unfortunately it smells like raspberries, which make her sick. She must decide whether to tell the truth and lose the endorsement deal, or lie about liking the perfume.
Jackson gets frustrated with having a little sister who always needs to be driven around. He bets Miley that she couldn't handle taking care of Mr. Dontzig's bratty niece for even one day. Miley takes him up on that bet. Meanwhile, Robbie is sick so Roxy tries to care for him.
