Comedy about Faith, a soap opera diva, who is forced to move in with her suburban housewife sister Hope and her family when her character is killed off on her show. Now Hope must maintain a sense of normalcy in her home while Faith must try to acclimate without destroying it.

When the sisters' aunt dies, they are determined to recover their mother's opal ring from the dead woman's finger.

Episode 3. The Un-Graduate (Air Date: 10/10/2003)

In order to get her high school diploma, Faith has to take French classes.

Episode 4. Summary Judgement (Air Date: 10/17/2003)

Faith takes the job as Hope's assistant to pay for a soap opera set she destroyed

Episode 5. About a Book Club (Air Date: 10/24/2003)

Faith turns a quiet book club meeting into an event that eventually required police assistance.

Episode 6. Hope Has No Faith (Air Date: 10/31/2003)

Faith falls head-over-heels for a man she met on Halloween; Hayley gets tips on how to get more attention from her math partner by Sydney.

Episode 7. Car Commercial (Air Date: 11/07/2003)

Faith gets a free car in exchange for co-starring in a used car commercial.

Episode 8. Hope & Faith Get Randy (Air Date: 11/14/2003)

Hope's high school sweetheart and Faith makes a love connection; Sydney and Hayley try to secretly fix a hole in their bedroom wall.


Hope and Faith accepts their father's latest lady until she shares some unexpected news during the Thanksgiving dinner

Episode 10. Anger Management (Air Date: 12/05/2003)

Hope and Faith must attend anger management classes after an encounter at Justin's basketball game.


In an effort to help Faith deal with the fact that her soap opera role has been recast, Hope asks for her help with Hayley's school's holiday play. Charley tries to coach Justin through dealing with a bully but ends up butting heads with the bully's father.

Episode 12. The Wedding (Air Date: 01/09/2004)

Faith and Astrid, the bride of the hour, spend the night drinking leaving Charley and family wondering where the bride is on her wedding day. Charley worries about how to toast his brother.

Episode 13. Madam President (Air Date: 01/23/2004)

Faith pulls out all stops to get her sister elected as Neighborhood Association President, but then Hope's opponent finds a secret from Faith's past. The politician's wife tries to make time with Charley.

Episode 14. The Diner Story (Air Date: 02/06/2004)

Faith learns of an upcoming Cleveland based film and tries to get a second chance at fame. In an effort to catch the director unaware, Hope and Faith eat at a diner where he will be, only to learn they forgot their wallets and are forced to work off their bill even as their waitress tries to realize her own dreams of acting.

Episode 15. Mismatch (Air Date: 02/13/2004)

Hope's initial happiness over Faith's interest in one of Charley's doctor friends wanes when Faith announces her plan to move to Djibouti. Hope believes that a brief camping excursion will prove the reality of the situation to Faith.

Episode 16. Charley's Baseball (Air Date: 02/20/2004)

Faith and Hope quest to replace Charley's baseball autographed by Roger Clemens. Charley faces off against Hayley when word comes down that the treehouse tree has to be cut down.


Hope and Faith try to get Charley's convertible repaired before he can notice the damage. To do so, they both agree to accompany the brother-mechanics on the prom date they always wanted with the two sisters.

Episode 18. Jury Duty (Air Date: 03/05/2004)

Faith sees jury duty as an opportunity to hone her craft and audition skills but only serves to interfere with the court.

Episode 19. Faith's Maid (Air Date: 03/19/2004)

Faith's maid from Hollywood comes to live with the family and, when an attempt to release her services backfires, so does her daughter. Faith and Hope end up working at an uptight country club.

Episode 20. Hope Gets a Job (Air Date: 04/09/2004)

Hope is hired as a columnist for the local paper, but is upset when Faith visits the office and is also hired. Sydney decides to participate in the Great American Bake Sale.

Episode 21. Faith's Husband (Air Date: 04/16/2004)

Faith's estranged husband Bob returns, but when a heated argument about finalizing their divorce turns passionate, Faith moves back in with him.

Episode 22. Jack's Back (Air Date: 04/30/2004)

Faith's best friend Mandy starts dating the sisters' father.

Episode 23. Trade Show (Air Date: 05/07/2004)

After Charley insists that Faith get a job, she visits a cheesy talent agent who books her for a trade show.


Faith is nominated for a Daytime Emmy and flies to New York City with the family for the award ceremony.
