Episode 1. Twins (Air Date: 09/21/99)

Joel Grey shows up after Shrug begins to suspect that Jennifer isn't the real Jennifer Grey after all; Lauren dates a mismatched set of conjoined twins (Jason and Randy Sklar); and Robbie runs into an ex who's now serving time as a trophy wife. Shrug: Evan Handler. Danna: Suzanne Lanza. Lauren: A.J. Langer.


A documentary account of the failed 1997 affair between Robbie (Stephen Eckholdt) and a “flaxen” beauty named Helen. Included: interviews with his friends Shrug (Evan Handler) and Lauren; dramatic vignettes starring Jennifer Grey; and comments about the doomed pair from Arthur (Chris Eigman).

Episode 3. Long Goodbye (Air Date: NA)

As Arthur's final hours in L.A. begin to wind down, Shrug (Evan Hadler) races the clock to crack the case of Robbie's stolen movie idea. Meanwhile, Lauren seeks out a famed politico's advice on the etiquette of airport goodbyes. Robbie: Steven Eckholdt. Lauren: A.J. Langer. Jennifer: Jennifer Grey.

Episode 4. Coast to Coast (Air Date: NA)

Arthur's book is released and critics are tearing it up across the country---except in L.A., where everyone loves it.


Arthur returns to L.A. as the toast of the coast he skewered in his book. Meanwhile, Shrug fears his lady (Jessica Lundy) is stealing his soul, and Jennifer sells hers to a drug-commercial producer. Carrie Fisher has a cameo. Clark: Joel Brooks. Lauren: A.J. Langer. Robbie: Steven Eckholdt.


Arthur finds love after a date (Stacy Galina) drags him to her therapist; the ladies fight over custody of their manicurist's massage chair; and Shrug and Robbie pose as Midwesterners to pick up non-California girls. Lauren has a spiritual awakening after God's image appears on a billboard, looking like the famous ex of Robbie's date (Amy Yasbeck). Meanwhile, Shrug helps his ex-con buddy Hilo open a smell bar. Hilo: Grant Heslov. Richard: Michael Halpin. Robbie: Steven Eckholdt. Arthur: Chris Eigman.

Episode 10. Summer of '42 (Air Date: NA)

Arthur freezes up when he enters into a May-December fling; Jen fakes her feelings for capital punishment to impress a hunk who's pro the death penalty; and Robbie sets Lauren up with a socially bankrupt stockbroker. Shrug: Evan Handler. Jen: Jennifer Grey. Lauren: A.J. Langer.

Episode 11. The Apartment (Air Date: NA)

Jennifer agrees to televise her appendix surgery on Robbie's Pay-Per-Cut cable show; Shrug (Evan Handler) hires himself a nanny; and Arthur's failed college career rears its ugly head. Jennifer: Jennifer Grey. Robbie: Steven Eckholdt. Arthur: Chris Eigman.

Sparks fly when Jennifer dates a detective (Jeff Yagher) who moonlights as a volunteer fireman, and Robbie (Steven Eckholdt) breaks the news to Shrug about buying a house.
