Season 3 Episodes

In the wake of the Megalo Mart explosion, Hank and Luanne are the only survivors. Hank develops a fear of propane and Luanne takes on the cause of starving children in trying to cope with Buckley's death.


Bobby falls for a vegetarian classmate.

Episode 3. Peggy's Headache (Air Date: 10/06/1998)

In seeking a cure for her headache, Peggy stumbles in on Nancy and John Redcorn and takes it on herself to let Dale know of the affair.

Episode 4. Pregnant Paws (Air Date: 10/13/1998)

Hank has troubles mating Ladybird due to her narrow uterus, a problem he empathizes with having a narrow urethra. Dale decides that he wants to be a bounty hunter and takes the four hour training course.

Episode 5. Next of Shin (Air Date: 11/03/1998)

Hank is upset when his father successfully impregnates Didi, a feat he can't mirror with Peggy. Cotton discovers that he doesn't want to have another child and runs away. Hank tracks him down in Las Vegas.

Episode 6. Peggy's Pageant Fever (Air Date: 11/10/1998)

Peggy enters a beauty pageant to win Hank a brand new truck and is quickly enveloped in the spirit of competition.

Episode 7. Nine Pretty Darn Angry Men (Air Date: 11/17/1998)

Hank is frustrated when his lawn mower company plans to release a newer, more "yuppy-fied" version. His Thanksgiving is challenging when both his mom and his dad show up.

Episode 8. Good Hill Hunting (Air Date: 12/01/1998)

The time for boys to become men falls on Arlen as fathers take their sons deer hunting. Unfortunately for Bobby, Hank hadn't secured a hunting license before environmentalists demanded that no more licenses be sold.

Episode 9. Pretty Pretty Dresses (Air Date: 12/15/1998)

The holidays are hard on everyone, but especially so for Bill as his wife Lenore left him during the Christmas season. This Christmas, Bill officially loses it and after unsuccessful suicide attempts, dons a dress and refers to himself as Lenore.


Hank Hill and gang join the Arlen volunteer firefighters when the professionals go on strike (with suitably disastrous results).

Frustrated with undisciplined students, Peggy spanks one of the unruly pack. She is fired, but then, after being reinstated, the power goes to her head.

Episode 12. Three Coaches and a Bobby (Air Date: 01/26/1999)

Bobby is torn between a very friendly soccer coach and a mean-spirited football coach assisted by Hank.

Episode 13. De-Kahnstructing Henry (Air Date: 02/02/1999)

After witnessing top-secret military plans at Kahn's military lab, Hank accidentally gets him fired.

Episode 14. The Wedding of Bobby Hill (Air Date: 02/09/1999)

Escalating pranks lead Hank and Peggy to put their feet down and pull one over on Bobby and Luanne, by having Bill pretend to join them as man and wife.

Episode 15. Sleight of Hank (Air Date: 02/16/1999)

The house is turned topsy-turvy when Peggy joins a magician's act.

Episode 16. Return to La Grunta (Air Date: 02/23/1999)

Luanne takes a job as the drink girl at the La Grunta Hotel golf course and suffers through a lot of unwanted sexual advances. Hank has to suffer through one of his own -- from the hotel's dolphin.

Episode 17. Escape to Party Island (Air Date: 03/16/1999)

Hank escorts his mother and her friends to on a minatures hunting excursion only to find the town overrun by college revelers.


An X-ray of Hank's colon premieres at an art expo while Bobby becomes enamored of deli food.

Episode 19. Hank's Cowboy Movie (Air Date: 04/06/1999)

Upset by the Witchita Falls's attitude towards Arlen, Hank decides to lure the Dallas Cowboy's to Arlen for training camp by making a flattering video.

Episode 20. Dog Dale Afternoon (Air Date: 04/13/1999)

Hank gets even with Dale's misuse of his lawn mower by stealing Dale's new mower.

Episode 21. Revenge of the Lutefisk (Air Date: 04/20/1999)

Bobby eats the new Reverend's entire casserole and accidentally burns the church down, but Cotton protects his grandson and takes the fall.

Episode 22. Death and Texas (Air Date: 04/27/1999)

Peggy inadvertantly starts smuggling drugs for a former student doing hard time.

Episode 23. Wings of the Dope (Air Date: 05/04/1999)

While bouncing on Khan's new trampoline, Luanne sees an angel.


Having Peggy pitch for the Strickland coed softball team causes a rift to develop between her and Hank.

Episode 25. As Old as the Hills (1) (Air Date: 05/18/1999)

While Hank and Peggy try to recapture their lost youth, Bobby fills in for Cotton's fatherly duties as Didi goes into labor.
