Season 12 Episodes
Episode 1. Suite Smells of Excess (Air Date: 09/23/2007)

Bobby develops an interest in football, much to Hank's delight. However, complications arise, when Hank and the guys take Bobby to a Texas-Nebraska game and Bobby goes into a retired quarterback's VIP suite.

Episode 2. Bobby Rae (Air Date: 09/30/2007)

Bobby protests against soda machines in the school and his determination attracts the attention of his socially conscious classmate Olivia. He continues his fight in hopes of getting a date with her.

Episode 3. The Powder Puff Boys (Air Date: 10/07/2007)

Bobby is not a happy camper when he is asked to dress up as a cheerleader and shake his pom-poms to support the girls as they play football in the school's annual Powder Puff game.

Episode 5. Death Picks Cotton (Air Date: 11/11/2007)

Hank, Peggy, Luanne and Lucky decide to celebrate the first trimester of Luanne's pregnancy at an upscale Japanese restaurant. Peggy and Hank plan to attend the celebration until Bobby's sitter cancels at the last minute.

Episode 6. Raise the Steaks (Air Date: 11/18/2007)

After buying tough, unsavory steaks at the Mega-Lo-Mart, Hank, at Appleseed's suggestion, visits the town co-op in search of better meat. After falling in love with the delicious organic food, Hank becomes a co-op volunteer and co-owner.


While Bobby heads a carnival planning committee at his school, a representative from the Superintendent's office visits Tom Landry Middle to carry out diversity tolerance exercises.

Episode 8. The Minh Who Knew Too Much (Air Date: 12/09/2007)

Kahn and Minh finally decide to ditch their hillbilly neighbors after Dale runs into their rose bushes with a homemade go-cart. The Souphanousinphones seek refuge at Nine Rivers, an upscale country club to which they were denied membership three times.

Episode 9. Dream Weaver (Air Date: 12/16/2007)

Gribbles experiences financial trouble due to Dale's slow extermination business, so Peggy suggests he participate in a program where people go on vacation to learn different trades --a "Vocation Vacation.

Episode 10. Doggone Crazy (Air Date: 01/06/2008)

Hank turns to a "dog spiritualist" when Ladybird begins to act up around loud noises. The spiritualist informs Hank that his lack of leadership skills is the source of Ladybird's tantrums, so Hank learns some canine commands.

Episode 11. Trans-Fascism (Air Date: 02/10/2008)

When the Arlen City Council bans the sale of foods containing trans fats, Sugar foot’s Restaurant goes out of business. Hank, who feels the ban is an infringement on freedom, encourages Strickland to fix things.

Episode 12. Untitled Blake McCormack (Air Date: 02/17/2008)

Bill becomes involved with a single mother, Charlene who has returned to Arlen after being away for some years. When Charlene introduces her two children to Hank, Dale and Boomhauer, Dale immediately dislikes her oldest, Kate.

Episode 13. The Accidental Terrorist (Air Date: 03/02/2008)

When Peggy needs a new car, Hank insists they buy from Tom Hammond his go-to salesman for 25 years. With her heart set on a convertible, Peggy begins the negotiation behind Hank's back and gets the price down considerably.

Episode 14. Lady and Gentrification (Air Date: 03/09/2008)

Enrique encourages his daughter, Inez, to ask Hank to speak at her Quinceaera and Hank reluctantly agrees to her request. He starts spending time with Inez so he has something to write about in his speech.

Episode 15. Behind Closed Doors (Air Date: 03/16/2008)

Tom Landry Middle School holds an emergency community meeting when a child goes missing in Arlen. Relationship expert Stephens Davies is invited to speak at the meeting and makes an example of Peggy by questioning her parenting skills. Peggy goes on "mommy" mode and is determined to know Bobby's and Hank's every move. The boys get irritated with Peggy and rebel, but they soon come to realize that Peggy is only looking out for their own good.

Episode 16. Pour Some Sugar on Kahn (Air Date: 03/30/2008)

Kahn's father-in-law, General Gum, visits the Souphanousinphone family. The General gives Kahn a hard time and makes him feel like a failure. Hank and the gang feel for Kahn, which never happens and take him under their wing. Peggy and Bobby know that Kahn is just showing his emotional side while the General is in town and as soon as Arlen is without the General, Kahn will show his true colors.


Peggy finds a great home listing that she must sell within two weeks. However, the home is currently occupied by the strangest family in Arlen. Peggy doesn't feel they are visually appealing enough to get the home sold in time, so she decides to bring in a "Hollywood" family to sell the home.


Joseph Gribble, Dale's son, becomes the star quarterback for Landry High School, and Arlen residents are bursting with excitement and hoping this is their year! Spencer Academy, a very wealthy prep school, approaches Joseph with an offer to play football for them.

Episode 19. Strangeness on a Train (Air Date: 04/27/2008)

Peggy is depressed that her birthday always ends up being a bust, so she vows to plan the party of the year. Hank, Bill, Boomhauer, Kahn, Luanne and the rest of the gang gather to celebrate with a disco-themed shindig on a mystery train, and everyone gets dressed in their sharpest 70s attire.

Episode 20. Cops and Robert (Air Date: 05/04/2008)

When Hank accidentally lifts another man's wallet, the man becomes bent out of shape and vows revenge. Hank, Bill and Boomhauer try to return the wallet to his home and the man decides to chase the guys all the way to the new sports bar where Dale works.

Episode 21. It Came From the Garage (Air Date: 05/11/2008)

Hank and Bobby get in some father/son bonding time when Hank dumps the old team of Dale, Bill and Boomhauer to help Bobby in a boat-building competition. During the building process, Hank gets spooked by bats that invade the construction garage, forcing Bobby to do the building all alone.

Episode 22. Life: A Loser's Manual (Air Date: 05/18/2008)

Luanne's long lost father and Peggy's brother, Hoyt, returns to Arlen after being incarcerated for years. With nowhere to go, he turns to his daughter and sister for guidance and a little bit of dough.
