Episode 1. Amends (Air Date: 10/04/2007)

When her late husband's partner is killed on the job, Det. Eames is forced to re-examine her husband's murder, and the life she thought she'd left behind.

Episode 2. Seeds (Air Date: 10/11/2007)

When an OB/GYN is murdered, detectives Logan and Falacci first believe he is a victim of pro-life activists. Soon they realize the murder is the result of long-buried family secrets. Among the suspects are the doctor's own son and brother and the nephew he never even knew he had.

Episode 3. Smile (Air Date: 10/18/2007)

A dentist from Park Avenue is murdered. The team investigates whether or not his murder is connected to the death of one of his young patients.

Episode 4. Lonelyville (Air Date: 10/25/2007)

When Logan and Falacci investigate the strangulation death of a beautiful blonde, their only clue to her identity and demise is the pair of emeralds hanging from her ears.

Episode 5. Depths (Air Date: 11/01/2007)

The body of a diver washes ashore. Goren and Eames clash with the FBI over the case.

Episode 6. Courtship (Air Date: 11/08/2007)

A couples therapist is shot at home. When detectives Logan and Falacci investigate, they initially suspect one of her patients. As they follow that trail, it doubles back to her husband and his work as a Brooklyn Divorce Court judge. It turns out the judge is for sale and his wife's murder was an act of revenge.

Episode 7. Self-Made (Air Date: 11/15/2007)

When a budding novelist is murdered, Goren and Eames investigate the seemingly disparate worlds she inhabits: New York's elite literary circle and the working class black neighborhood from which she hails.

Episode 8. Offense (Air Date: 11/29/2007)

When a key witness in a high profile rape is found dead, Mike Logan and Nola Falacci dig into the rape case, discovering a football team who protect their own, and an ambitious Assistant District Attorney with an agenda.

Episode 9. Untethered (Air Date: 12/06/2007)

When Goren learns about the mistreatment of his nephew in an upstate New York prison, he decides to go undercover to investigate. Goren's nephew had revealed that a young inmate was tortured and starved to death at the hands of cruel guards and a warden who turns her back on the abuse. In going undercover, Goren comes face to face with his inner self, and must master and confront his own demons before he can be of help to others.

Episode 10. Senseless (Air Date: 12/13/2007)

Logan and Falacci investigate the execution-style shooting of three college freshmen. When the utter senselessness of the crime hits Logan, he vows to apprehend the killers and bring them to justice. At a loss as to identifying any motive for the shooting, the detectives must rely on the testimony of one of the surviving victims in order to break the case.

Episode 11. Purgatory (Air Date: 06/08/2008)

Det. Goren, under suspension pending a psychiatric evaluation, decides to prove himself by going undercover to take down a high-level drug-dealer. In the process, Goren disbands a duo of dirty cops and strains his relationship with his partner, Eames.

Episode 12. Contract (Air Date: 06/15/2008)

Wheeler returns to the squad. A gossip columnist is killed and there’s a wide range of people who are suspects due to a connection to a celebrity sex scandal.

Episode 13. Betrayed (Air Date: 06/22/2008)

A cheating couple run off together, and disappear into thin air leaving the jilted older wife, who used to date Captain Ross, to try and pick up the pieces, until she becomes a suspect.

Episode 14. Assassin (Air Date: 06/29/2008)

When Bela Khan, an influential woman bent on creating a Free Tamil Homeland returns to the United States, she is greeted with an assassination attempt on her life. In the chaos, her assistant Rosemary sacrificed her own young life, diving in front of Bela to take her bullet.


Goren and Eames look for a killer who slays parents in front of their children.

Episode 16. Reunion (Air Date: 07/13/2008)

When the host of TV's "Rock 'n' Talk" is bludgeoned to death by a champagne bottle, Logan and Wheeler's investigation into the seamy music world involves Jordie Black, Wheeler's favorite rock star from high school, whose secret past pushes Wheeler's admiration to the brink.

Episode 17. Vanishing Act (Air Date: 07/20/2008)

A celebrity illusionist disappears during his own stunt, propelling detectives Goren and Earnes into the secretive world of magicians.

Episode 18. Ten Count (Air Date: 07/27/2008)

When the brother of a young man Logan used to mentor is shot outside a nightclub, he and Wheeler investigate the world of amateur boxing, where setups and payoffs make life outside the ring just as dangerous as life inside it.

Episode 19. Legacy (Air Date: 08/03/2008)

A student's death at an elite private school leads Goren and Eames to investigate a world where grades mean everything, kids live their lives online, and everyone has something to hide.

Episode 20. Neighborhood Watch (Air Date: 08/10/2008)

A decapitated, stabbed, and mutilated body is found in Maspeth Creek. Everyone is the community is a suspect.

Episode 21. Last Rites (Air Date: 08/17/2008)

A priest asks Logan to re-investigate 16-year-old triple homicide, which tests Logan's faith.

Episode 22. Frame (Air Date: 08/24/2008)

Bobby is visited by the past when he finds a picture at his mother's grave indicating an old nemesis has returned, and the case only gets more complex when his brother and a mentor reappear.
