The only way to save an abducted young girl may be an ex-convict and McCoy and Borgia have to decide whether he is trustworthy.

A mother-daughter con team comes under scrutiny from Fontana and Green who, in turn, bring in Olivia Benson who has worked against the duo before.

A dying criminal confesses to a decades old murder causing Fontana to reopen the case. Fontana had originally accused the father of his daughter's rape and murder and reopening the case also reopens old family wounds.

The detectives look into the death of a man precipitated by a car bomb after he decides to remove his wife's feeding tube. The suspects in the case are plenty as a crowd was in attendance protesting his actions and also include the wife's family and religious figures.

The case of a murdered prostitute takes a turn when the detectives discover that she was actually an undercover reporter.

Suspicious hand marks near the journalists shoulder area cause Detective Fontana and Green to believe there are missing pieces to the puzzle. After careful review A.D.A Borgia notices something on the tape that might shed some light on what actually happened to the depressed journalist

Episode 22. Kingmaker (Air Date: 05/03/2006)

When an undercover police officer is murdered, fingers point to an Albanian drug dealer, whom she had been investigating for some time. As it turns out the officer’s name was published in a newspaper article that stated she was both the daughter of an author and NYPD. After more information surfaces, Detectives Fontana and Green go after Eric Lund, the chief of staff to a liberal politician.

Episode 23. Hindsight (Air Date: 05/10/2006)

Fontana and Green are called in to investigate when Green's former replacement, Nick Falco, is suspected of murdering a young woman he had spent the night with.

Episode 24. Invaders (Air Date: 05/17/2006)

The family of a man who once turned his customers into the police is slain, and the ensuing fracas pits McCoy against a corrupt D.E.A. agent.
