Episode 1. Tragedy (Air Date: 09/23/2003)

The Special Victims Unit tries to locate an abducted pregnant woman to save both her life and the life of her unborn child from a criminal dubbed the "Carjack Rapist". The investigation reveals that this victim was purposefully chosen.

Episode 2. Manic (Air Date: 09/30/2003)

The detectives look into the motive behind the one student's shooting of two high school basketball players and find a link to a medicine company.

Episode 3. Mother (Air Date: 10/11/2003)

When the initial suspect in an attack on a psychiatrist, a paroled patient convicted of rape, is cleared, the detectives find that the culprit may be a coworker.

Episode 4. Loss (Air Date: 10/14/2003)

An undercover DEA agent is raped and murdered and Benson and Stabler try to out her killer without endangering other undercover agents or having the Federal officials pull the case from them.

Episode 5. Serendipity (Air Date: 10/21/2003)

When the body of a newborn baby is found, its death is also traced to its mother's. A paternity test on the dead baby links a doctor to an unrelated rape charge, but its revealed that in an effort to extricate himself from the paternity by faking his blood sample, he netted himself in a bigger crime.

A kidnapping is linked to an unstable grocery store clerk who will do anything to protect his "son."

The beating of a pregnant woman has the detectives following the lead of her abusive husband who, in turn, points his finger back at the woman.

The murder of a "re-educated" homosexual male leads the detectives to potential suspects of a Reverend who'd condemned his lifestyle and his thesis professor.

A woman attacker is revealed in the brutal castration attack on a subway commuter. The investigation reveals that the victim himself had been victimizing women, subjugating them in his dungeon.

Episode 10. Shaken (Air Date: 11/25/2003)

The detectives trail the culprits behind the abduction and beating of a child in a park, but then evidence begins to point to parental abuse.

Episode 11. Escape (Air Date: 12/02/2003)

Benson and her ex-boyfriend, a US Marshal, hunt down an escaped child molester who wants to get back in touch with a former victim. When she finds herself trapped in a room with the escaped convict and his victim, Benson starts to believe that the convict may be innocent.

Episode 12. Brotherhood (Air Date: 01/06/2004)

The detectives butt heads with a fraternity of witnesses over an investigation into the death of a fraternity pledgemaster.

Episode 13. Hate (Air Date: 01/13/2004)

The burnt bodies of two Arab-American rape victims are discovered and the detectives find that the women were working to improve interfaith relations. The investigation focuses on a veteran who condemns all Muslims who has a slick defense attorney.

Episode 14. Ritual (Air Date: 02/03/2004)

The body of a young boy leads the detectives to suspect the boy was used as a sacrifice in a Santeria ritual. The investigation reveals the deeper truth of human trafficking.

Episode 15. Families (Air Date: 02/10/2004)

The body of a pregnant teen is found and the DNA results indicate that a family member is the possible father, leaving the detectives to separate the perp from out of the victim's family and boyfriend.

Episode 16. Home (Air Date: 02/17/2004)

An apparently homeless boy leads the detectives to a tyrannical mother who infects her two sons with the paranoia that she suffers through.

Episode 17. Mean (Air Date: 02/24/2004)

An entire school of girls is marked as suspects when the female bully is found murdered.

Episode 18. Careless (Air Date: 03/02/2004)

A child's death, initially linked to faith healing, is revealed to be the result of a long bout of child abuse.

Episode 19. Sick (Air Date: 03/30/2004)

Looking into a young boy's hostile and violent outlook, the detectives learn that he may have been one of the abuse victims of an outward-seeming child benefactor.

Episode 20. Lowdown (Air Date: 04/06/2004)

An Assistant District Attorney's body is found in a suspect area known as a prostitute-filled area. Further evidence calls into question the dead man's sexual preference and complicated by the fact that it's an ex of Benson's.

Episode 21. Criminal (Air Date: 04/20/2004)

A dead criminology student's body indicates that the culprit has intimate knowledge of forensic details. Indications point to the victim's teacher, an ex-con sent to jail originally by Captain Cragen.

Episode 22. Painless (Air Date: 04/27/2004)

A woman who appeared to be a rape victim commits suicide while at the hospital recovering. The ensuing investigation leads to a doctor who helps assist people with their deaths.

Episode 23. Bound (Air Date: 05/04/2004)

The detectives hunt down a possible serial killer when the rape and murder of a wealthy woman matches the M.O. of two other murders.

Episode 24. Poison (Air Date: 05/11/2004)

Stabler and Benson come to suspect a mother in a poisoning when the other child talks of abuse. Novak butts heads with an egotistical judge.

Episode 25. Head (Air Date: 05/18/2004)

The bust of a voyeur who videotapes a women's restroom leads to his collection which includes a sexual assault on an underaged victim. The detectives try to close in on the perpetrating pedophile.
