Episode 1. Birthright (Air Date: 09/21/2004)

An intense investigation into an attempted kidnapping of a little girl leads the detectives into a fertility doctor's plan to steal embryos.

Episode 2. Debt (Air Date: 09/28/2004)

Benson and Stabler discover two abandoned children that end up being at the center of an illegal immigrant smuggling ring.

Episode 3. Obscene (Air Date: 10/12/2004)

A well-known teen actress is raped in her trailer on the set. Stabler and Fin discover the actress is hated by many community members and a rock shock jock who pays for pictures of the star. But, when the son of a television protester is convicted of the crime, the mother takes justice in her own hands.

Episode 4. Scavenger (Air Date: 10/19/2004)

A serial killer has left clues all around the city, the team races to find him before he kills again. They discover that the killer is a copy cat who allows himself to be caught in hopes of becoming famous.

Episode 5. Outcry (Air Date: 10/26/2004)

A teen who had gone missing reveals to Benson and Stabler that she was abducted by three uniformed men. The girls story doesn't pan out and her father becomes a suspect.

Episode 6. Conscience (Air Date: 11/09/2004)

A young boy disappears from a birthday party and is later found dead. The father of the dead child takes revenge upon the teen murderer.

Episode 7. Charisma (Air Date: 11/16/2004)

The team investigates a cult leader who has impregnated his 12 year old "wife." When they show up at his home, all of the children in the cult are murdered by one of his followers, who then kills herself. Olivia has to convince the 12-year-old that the leader is a liar before he kills her for her money.

Episode 8. Doubt (Air Date: 11/23/2004)

A graduate student accuses her professor of rape, but he say's it was consensual. The woman later accuses Stabler of innapropriate touching.

Episode 9. Weak (Air Date: 11/30/2004)

A serial rapist is preying on disabled young women. When a mentally ill woman is hospitalized, Benson and Stabler must turn to the hospital psychiatrist, a former cop, for help.

Episode 10. Haunted (Air Date: 12/07/2004)

Fin's life becomes complicated after being shot during a convenience store robbery and a reunion with his son leads him to finish the search for a missing girl and keep a promise he made years ago.

Episode 11. Contagious (Air Date: 01/11/2005)

Benson and Stabler try to track down a child molester after discovering a victim in a car crash. The initial person indicted for the crime is found to be innocent after the detectives learn that parents coerced testimony out of their children. The real criminal is identified from the initial victim's drawing.

Episode 12. Identity (Air Date: 01/18/2005)

A gang member's rooftop flight could be revenge for a sexual crime.

Episode 13. Quarry (Air Date: 01/25/2005)

An anonymous tip leads Benson to the dead body of a long missing boy. The man accused of his murder was never found guilty on that charge and sits on death row for another crime. The police believe that he leaked the information in an effort to re-open that case and ensure that he stays alive a bit longer. As the investigation continues, evidence points elsewhere.

Episode 14. Game (Air Date: 02/08/2005)

The detectives link a dead prostitute to some teenagers. Their defense counsel blames their violent actions on a video game.

Episode 15. Hooked (Air Date: 02/15/2005)

The clues in the death of a dead teenager who was living as a prostitute lead to her life in adult films, where she contracted HIV.

Episode 16. Ghost (Air Date: 02/22/2005)

A couple who were involved in money laundering for drug dealers are found murdered. The case comes together with the return of former A.D.A. Alexandra Cabot, who was previously thought to be dead.

Episode 17. Rage (Air Date: 03/01/2005)

Stabler tries to take down a man who apparently murdered a teen after he'd previously beaten the detective at his own game.

Episode 18. Pure (Air Date: 03/08/2005)

The investigation into a missing eighteen year old girl includes a psychic who knows too much information about the case.

Episode 19. Intoxicated (Air Date: 03/29/2005)

A woman claims that her daughter's older boyfriend committed statutory rape, but when the daughter is brought in for questioning, the mother ends up dead.

Episode 20. Night (Part 1) (Air Date: 05/03/2005)

Benson and Stabler work to put away a serial rapist who has the M.O. of attacking illegal immigrants but also has a rich and supportive mother. The case hits a snag when information leaks and the only witness is brought in by INS. Novak is assaulted in her office, but it turns out that the culprit is the witness's brother.

Episode 21. Blood (Air Date: 05/10/2005)

Benson and Stabler's investigation into a sexual assault and carjacking leads them to a drug ring apparently involving by an elderly woman. Further investigation reveals her son's abusive relationship and leads to the death of her daughter-in-law. Stabler's daughter is brought in for drunk driving and Stabler makes the charge disappear.

Episode 22. Parts (Air Date: 05/17/2005)

When the detectives investigate a cut-up victim of murder, they learn that after she was left for dead, a man had her kidney removed to save his son's life. The detectives then search for a transplant surgeon at the heart of black market body parts.

Episode 23. Goliath (Air Date: 05/24/2005)

Two police officers who served in Afghanistan and were treated with an anti-malaria drug display erractic and violent tendencies. One of them commits suicide while under psychiatric evaluation. When the Army admits its knowledge of these potential side effects, Novak tries to take them down. The military doctor changes his tune when put on the stand, undermining the case.
