Episode 1. A Tale of Two Cities (Air Date: 10/04/2006)

Jack, Kate, and Sawyer have been drugged and have had blood taken from them. They each wake up in a different area with unique circumstances to deal with.

Episode 2. The Glass Ballerina (Air Date: 10/11/2006)

Kate and Sawyer are forced to do manual labor. In flashbacks, we learn more about about how Sun betrayed Jin in the past. Sun betrays Jin again when he wants to return to the island, but she chooses to help Sayid.

Episode 3. Further Instructions (Air Date: 10/18/2006)

After the hatch implodes, Locke wakes up in the jungle, confused and unable to speak. In flashbacks, we learn about a betrayal in his past. He goes back to camp and builds a sweat lodge for himself, in hopes that he can figure out what to do next.

Episode 4. Every Man For Himself (Air Date: 10/25/2006)

Desmond predicts the future yet again, when he tries to prepare for a thunderstorm. Sawyer attempts to escape his cage, but Ben outsmarts him and beats him unconscious.

Episode 5. The Cost of Living (Air Date: 11/01/2006)

In a fit of delirium, Eko dreams of his past and his brother. When he awakens, he believes he needs to go to his brother's body, which he had last left in the plane next to the Pearl station and burned.

Episode 6. I Do (Air Date: 11/08/2006)

Through Kate's flashbacks, we discover that she once called herself Monica and was married to a police officer who didn't know that she was a fugitive.

Episode 7. Not in Portland (Air Date: 02/07/2007)

In flashbacks, we learn that Juliet was a medical researcher in Miami who was working for her nasty ex-husband when she discovered a drug that could make someone pregnant.

Episode 8. Flashes Before Your Eyes (Air Date: 02/14/2007)

Charlie and Hurley are going through Sawyer's stash when Desmond shows up and takes them to Locke and Sayid. As Locke reveals Eko's death in hopes they can help keep the survivors calm at the news, Desmond suddenly sprints into the ocean, where Claire is drowning.

Episode 9. Stranger in a Strange Land (Air Date: 02/21/2007)

Sawyer and Kate, with Karl in tow, argue about what their next move should be as they row the boat. Sawyer wants to rest before heading to the main island, but Kate wants to get back to the main island as soon as possible so they can get help and go back for Jack.

Episode 10. Tricia Tanaka is Dead (Air Date: 02/28/2007)

In flashback, we see Hurley as a child fixing a car when his father leaves for work in another state. This is the last time Hurley sees his father for seventeen years.

Episode 11. Enter 77 (Air Date: 03/07/2007)

Sawyer discovers that people have gone through his stash while he's been gone. They've also found a ping pong table. Sawyer decides that he will challenge Hurley to win his stuff back.

Episode 12. Par Avion (Air Date: 03/14/2007)

Claire looks up and sees some tagged birds. She tells everyone that she has an idea that could get them rescued, and recruits Sun and Jin to help her.

Episode 13. The Man from Tallahassee (Air Date: 03/21/2007)

Kate, Sayid, Locke and Rousseau go to rescue Jack, but the reunion is not what Kate expected. Jack has made a deal with The Others and is about to leave the island.

Episode 14. Exposé (Air Date: 03/28/2007)

A flashback reveals that Nikki was once an actress in Sydney, Australia on a show called "Expose." She slept with the director and then poisoned him for his diamonds with the help of her boyfriend Paulo.

Episode 15. Left Behind (Air Date: 04/04/2007)

Kate is locked in The Others' rec room. Locke comes in to say goodbye, telling her he is leaving with them. Kate is watching The Others putting on gas masks and packing up when someone gasses her out.

Episode 16. One of Us (Air Date: 04/11/2007)

Jack, Kate, and Sayid are joyously welcomed back at the beach until everyone realizes Juliet is with them. Things are tense until suddenly Claire gets violently ill.

Episode 17. Catch-22 (Air Date: 04/18/2007)

Desmond has a string of visions that appear to lead him to Penny. He sees someone fall from the sky, and then be rescued by him. Desmond realizes that he must make this chain of events happen if he wants to see her.

Episode 18. D.O.C. (Air Date: 04/25/2007)

Flashback to the early, happy days of Sun and Jin's marriage. A starnge woman threatens Sun that she will reveal Jin’s past, that his father is a fisherman and mother is a prostitute, if she is not paid off.

Episode 19. The Brig (Air Date: 05/02/2007)

Charlie, Hurley, Jin, and Desmond decide they do not trust Jack enough to let him know about Naomi. She claims she was sent by Penny to rescue Desmond and that if she can get word to her ship they will all be rescued.


We flashback to see that Ben was not, in fact, born on the island. His mother died while giving birth to him near Portland. He came to the island as a young boy with his father, who had been offered a job with the Dharma Initiative.

Episode 21. Greatest Hits (Air Date: 05/16/2007)

Since Juliet has told Jack of The Others' plans for kidnapping the women, Jack has devised a plan to ambush them. He has enlisted the help of Rousseau, who has been gathering dynamite.


Jack and the castaways begin their efforts to make contact with Naomi's rescue ship.


Episode starts with Jack in a very dark time in his life - nearly committing suicide before coming to the aid of two car crash victims, stealing drugs, attending the funeral of someone he neither likes nor is related to, and making call after call to a mysterious someone.
