The 20 Making the Band 4 finalists, have been chosen by Diddy and are moving into their awesome NYC pad. As the guys open the door, they're happy to find all the rooms decked out with the hottest decor. However, the house is only the beginning of more great things to come. It's time for Diddy to mold these men into a soulful group he calls, his "masterpiece."

Diddy doesn't want the guys to get too comfortable. That's why he's making them perform live at the legendary B.B. King Blues Club in New York.

Diddy sends his "dream team" on a nationwide search for new talent to fill the beds left empty by last week's cut singers.

Episode 5. Distracted (Air Date: 07/16/2007)

Robert and June haven't seen eye to eye for quite some time, and now that Robert isn't able to devote his full attention to their relationship, she feels he is no longer interested in her. After not being contacted for a few days, June calls with devastating news, she wants to end their relationship. But Robert vows he won't allow that to affect him.

The time is drawing to a close for the guys as the Making the Band competition grows fiercer with each coming week. The fellas are growing more and more eager to make the band, but first they must hone their singing skills and brush up on their dancing.

The group opens for New Edition while Diddy deliberates.

Episode 9. The Finale (Air Date: 08/26/2007)

Diddy selects the band live on MTV, and makes an announcment nobody could have expected.
