Episode 1. And Then (Air Date: NA)

In the Season 4 premiere, Allison has creepy visions of a boy being kidnapped from a toy store. Banished from her DA job because her psychic abilities were made public, Allison turns to a private investigator (Anjelica Huston) to help find the child. Meanwhile, young Ariel tries to score the lead role in a school play; and a jobless Joe goes searching for employment.


A terrible prediction haunts Allison as she aids the investigation of a missing teen. Elsewhere, an invitation to an unsupervised concert causes Ariel to dream of her mother's high-school days. Anjelica Huston guest stars.


As a jobless Joe continues seeking employment, Allison delves into a case involving the vanishing of a soon-to-be married woman, who just happens to be the daughter of Joe's prospective employer.


Patricia Arquette's real-life brother David Arquette directed this episode, which revolves around the kidnapping of a deaf girl. Allison herself is rendered deaf, as she gets an assist from Joe and PI Cynthia Keener (Anjelica Huston) in the case. Nancy Travis and Steven Culp guest star as the young victim's wealthy parents.


Allison's cash-flow problems prompt her to accept an offer by her longtime nemesis, defense attorney Larry Watt (Conor O'Farrell), to serve as his consultant. But Allison's values are tested when she has visions of Watt's client being guilty of murder. Elsewhere, Devalos and Ariel independently launch new ventures.

Episode 6. Aftertaste (Air Date: NA)

Devalos (Miguel Sandoval, who also directed the episode) tries to retake the DA's office, but his efforts could be derailed when Allison has visions of his chief political supporter (Gregory Itzin) mired in a shocking conspiracy. Meanwhile, daughter Bridgette's dreamscapes revolve around an unrelenting creditor.

Episode 7. Burn Baby Burn (Air Date: NA)

Part 1 of 2. Joe's mother (Kathy Baker) pays a visit to the DuBois family---but she comes revealing a secret only to Allison. Elsewhere, the heat is on when Allison investigates an arson-murder case; and private investigator Cynthia Keener (Anjelica Huston) seeks Allison's help with open cases.

Conclusion. As a secret from Joe's mother (Kathy Baker) continues to be an issue, Allison works to solve an arson-murder case while trying to make sense of her horrifying visions involving a violent dentist. Part 1 of 2. While investigating the disappearance of a local girl, Allison has eerie visions about yet another missing young woman (Sarah Drew). Allison's restless dreams also zero in on the haunted past of PI Cynthia Keener (Anjelica Huston). And on the domestic front, Bridgette's science project has a bizarre impact on Joe.


Conclusion. Allison's quest to solve a decade-old kidnapping and murder continues, as she begins to shed light on the haunted past of Cynthia Keener (Anjelica Huston). Elsewhere, Joe continues to pursue his new invention, with Bridgette prognosticating his good fortune. Sarah Drew guest stars.

Episode 11. Lady Killer (Air Date: NA)

Rosanna Arquette (series star Patricia Arquette's sister) guest stars as an older seductress linked to the brutal murders of two younger men. Elsewhere, Allison senses Devalos is being double-crossed by a close associate as the campaign heats up.


Kelly Preston guest stars as venture capitalist Meghan Doyle, who strikes up a professional and personal connection with Joe, testing the DuBois marriage in the process. Meanwhile, an FBI profiler (Kurtwood Smith) arrives in town to catch a serial killer, but Allison's visions reveal his plans may be much more sinister.


Allison's health is jeopardized when she tries to understand the link between several accidental deaths. Complicating matters: She has chilling visions of a hospital visit. In domestic developments, young Marie sees a need for glasses.

Episode 14. Car Trouble (Air Date: NA)

Joe surprises Allison by buying her a used car, but Allison's subsequent visions warn of the vehicle's unsavory past. Meanwhile, Allison grows unsettled upon meeting Joe's sightly business partner, venture capitalist Meghan Doyle (Kelly Preston).


As Scanlon probes the slaying of a drug dealer, Allison has visions of a charismatic killer, leading her to an impaired man (Miguel Ferrer) with a bullet in his head. Meanwhile, Joe and his alluring associate (Kelly Preston) share an awkward moment, jeopardizing their partnership.

Episode 16. Drowned World (Air Date: NA)

In the fourth-season finale, Allison takes on a haunted-house case that turns violent. Meanwhile, the true motives of Joe's business associate (Kelly Preston) come to light, and the DA race between Devalos and Tom Van Dyke (John Prosky) heats up.
