Episode 1. Divorce Dominican Style (Air Date: 07/27/1998)

Billy is upset over Sam's affair with Jeff, while Jeff continues to pursue Sam at Jennifer's urging so that she can have Billy. Meanwhile, Megan uses Michael's own words against him, and Kyle attempts to get Taylor to clear Amanda of blame for the death of his ex-girlfriend.

Episode 2. A Long Way to Tip a Rory (Air Date: 08/03/1998)

Lexi finds out that she may take the fall for her father's larceny, but Peter suggests a way out after making his feelings for Amanda clear. Meanwhile, Rory and Amanda are on their honeymoon, and Billy and Samantha file divorce papers.

Episode 3. A Match Made in Hell (Air Date: 08/10/1998)

Michael’s contempt for fatherhood is eroded by Taylor; Amanda's husband returns; Michael dates his new receptionist; Lexi makes her case to Megan; and Samantha catches Billy and Jennifer together.

Episode 4. Ball 'N' Jane (Air Date: 08/17/1998)

Michael runs into Jane when he attends their college reunion. Meanwhile, Peter gets a big favor from a former patient in dealing with Amanda.

Episode 5. As Bad As It Gets (Air Date: 08/24/1998)

While Jane catches up on the Melrose gang, Michael hides Taylor from her. Samantha gets some help from Jeff to sabotage Billy and Jennifer. Meanwhile, Coop and Lexi must abide by their vows or face fraud charges, and Peter pulls back on his arrangement for Amanda.


Peter helps Kyle in his efforts to get Amanda back from the kidnappers; Coop ends his arrangement with Lexi; Samantha's plot against Billy and Jennifer backfires; and Taylor makes an offer to Jane and Michael about her


Peter ends up coming to Amanda's rescue. Jane and Michael agree to raise Taylor's child. Coop ends his bogus marriage to Lexi.


Megan wants Michael, but he proposes to Jane. Amanda receives an old friend's diary, which contains dark secrets about a rift between Kyle and his brother. Also Michael, Peter and Jane find themselves in a compromising situation

Episode 9. Where The Hookers Grow (Air Date: 09/21/1998)

Megan's secret past is revealed when she returns to her home and confronts her mother and father. Amanda is guilt ridden over shooting Peter, deepening Kyle's jealousy.

Episode 10. Dr. Jealousy (Air Date: 09/28/1998)

Michael tests Jane’s fidelity with Alex while Kyle and Amanda have their ransom money returned.

Episode 11. Not Quite All About Eve (Air Date: 10/19/1998)

Amanda is rattled by Lexi’s business moves and Kyle tries to figure out the missing journal page with Peter.

Episode 12. The Rumor Whisperer (Air Date: 10/26/1998)

Jane gives Michael an ultimatum after he tells her about his fidelity test; Eve’s aggressiveness has a negative effect on her date with Peter; Amanda’s plans are upset by Lexi.


After Jane agrees to be Alex’s model, Michael starts to keep tabs on her; Eve tries to pace herself with Peter; Amanda and Peter get stuck in an elevator during a power outage; Megan rebuffs Ryan.

Episode 14. Suspicion (Air Date: 11/09/1998)

Jane goes to Chicago to help Alex, who is determined to remain all business while Eve rejects a record deal that makes Kyle suspicious. After Ryan gets the cold shoulder from Megan, Lexi moves in and Peter’s doctor meets with Amanda. Special musical guest, The Red Elvises.

Episode 15. Fiddling On The Roof (Air Date: 11/16/1998)

Lexi tries to keep Ryan away from Michael and Jane’s wedding, where alcohol and Alex get the best of Michael.

Episode 16. Lethal Wedding 4 (Air Date: 11/23/1998)

Peter thinks about changing his life after the death of his father; Amanda gets Jane and Michael together for a night alone; Lexi tries to fix things with Megan; and Kyle discovers a connection between Eve and Amanda. Special musical guest Swamp Boogie Queen.

Episode 17. When Cheerleaders Attack (Air Date: 11/30/1998)

Kyle learns that there is a murder that connects Eve and Amanda; Michael goes easy on Jane in their divorce deposition; Lexi gets drunk and makes a scene after being threatened by Peter; Amanda begins to reevaluate her life.

Episode 18. Suddenly Sperm (Air Date: 12/14/1998)

A real estate agent movies in on Michael’s house and him; Ryan is assigned to escort a spokesmodel; Lexi and Amanda call a truce for charity; Eve is recognized by a man from her past. Musical Guest Pushmonkey.

Episode 19. The Usual Santas (Air Date: 12/21/1998)

A judge sentences Jane and Michael to be together for the holidays. Meanwhile, Kyle starts hitting the bottle because of his physical problem, which only makes his confrontation of Eve's blackmailer more frenzied. Musical guest, Hanson.

Episode 20. The Kyle High Club (Air Date: 01/11/1999)

Jane and Michael find out how high their legal bills are; Kyle’s behavior begins to disturb Amanda; and Lexi uses a business approach to finding a relationship.


A cash-strapped Michael looks for the money to invest in Perry’s latest deal; Eve gets between Amanda and Kyle. Ryan thinks Megan has returned to her old line of work because of her secrecy.

Episode 22. A Fist Full Of Secrets (Air Date: 01/25/1999)

Peter conducts his own investigation into Eve’s past while he is in her home town. Ryan questions Megan about her work and Kyle about his drugs; a new nurse gets Michael’s attention.


Ryan and Kyle’s dad comes for a visit and causes trouble for his sons; Jane confronts Audrey; the hospital refuses to support Michael in the sexual harassment suit.

Episode 24. Saving Ryan's Privates (Air Date: 02/15/1999)

Kyle sets fire to Amanda’s new house and then disappears. Michael is double crossed by his partner. Jane and Ryan discover that Lexi is after the same account they are.


Amanda’s visit with Kyle doesn’t go well and she turns to Peter for help. Meanwhile, Lexi and Ryan work together on an ad campaign and then fight for credit.


Kyle and Eve hit the road after finding out about Amanda and Peter’s alleged affair; Michael’s plans are blown out of the water by a videotape; Lexi meets several of Ryan’s exes.

Episode 27. Unpleasantville (Air Date: 03/08/1999)

Amanda must choose between keeping Melrose Place and building a dream home. Lexi gets Megan to propose to Ryan. Michael and Peter team up to provide health care for the uninsured, but they risk their jobs at the hospital. Peter tries to help an old friend of Eve's. Special musical guest: Swirl 360.

Episode 28. McBride's Head Revisited (Air Date: 04/12/1999)

Michael and Lexi investigate Ryan’s secret. Eve and Peter make different plans with their windfall; Amanda has Megan go after Lexi’s clients; Jane finds her knight in shining armor.

Episode 29. Ryan's Choice (Air Date: 04/15/1999)

Eve’s involvement with Jackie could put her back in jail; Michael gets the staff to rally around Peter as Shulman makes his move; Ryan goes along with Lexi’s plan.

Episode 30. The Daughterboy (Air Date: 04/19/1999)

Peter and Michael hire a spy to follow Shulman; Megan and Ryan get into a fight in front of a client; Kyle thinks Amanda spends too much time at work.


Amanda and Jane face off over Kyle; Michael and Lexi continue to connive while Ryan tries to reconcile with his daughter.

Episode 32. Floral Knowledge (Air Date: 05/03/1999)

Amanda sacrifices her relationship with Kyle, her friendship with Eve and her wedding vows when she attempts to seduce Peter in order to win a cruise line account. Meanwhile, Lexi plays dirty in order to win the same account.

Episode 33. Lexi Gets Stiffed (Air Date: 05/10/1999)

Amanda battles to keep her agency while Peter demands a divorce from Eve. Lexi pursues Tony Marlin and makes him an offer he can’t refuse in exchange for signing with her company. Terry schemes to win Ryan, who proposes to Megan.

Episode 34. Dead Men Don't Shut Up (Air Date: 05/17/1999)

Eve has a flashback of a traumatic event and uncovers a startling revelation about Amanda’s past. Meanwhile, Megan bursts in on Ryan and Terry at an intimate moment.

Episode 35. Asses To Ashes (Air Date: 05/24/1999)

After remembering the real events of the Demarr murder, Eve plots her revenge on Amanda.
