The 52 Miss America contestants are divided into teams to compete in challenges. The top three are Miss Pennsylvania, Miss Utah and Miss South Carolina., and the bottom three are Miss Idaho, Miss Vermont, and Miss Oklahoma.
Two very special guests, celebrity hair-stylist Kim Vo and Make-Up Guru Napoleon Perdis, give each woman a "prescription" for fixing their outdated looks. Miss Illinois declines their help, leaving her as the only contestant who hasn't had a makeover. The top three are Miss Indiana, Miss District of Columbia, and Miss Illinois, and the bottom three are Miss Washington, Miss Utah, and Miss Alaska.
It's all about fashion baby - out with the old and in with the new. Now that the women have the look, can they carry it? An expert walking coach will help them work it down the runway. The top three contestants are Florida, Virginia and Alaska, and the bottom three are Iowa, Tennessee and Rhode Island.
In the final episode of the series, the Miss America contenders are put to the test --- they've been through "it girl" bootcamp and now it's time to see what they choose to remember and what they've decided to let go.
