A dog-show participant with an attitude brings her prized dog to the clinic for pre-show grooming. When the shampoo they use makes the dog's hair fall out, all hell breaks loose. Meanwhile, Syd fears that a schizophrenic patient might harm her and moves in with Owen for her own security.
