Episode 1. Pilot Episode (Air Date: 03/15/07)

A murdered young woman appears to Det. Raines as he investigates her case. A suspect is soon caught, but the woman continues to haunt Raines, compelling him to continue looking for her killer.

Episode 2. Meet Juan Doe (Air Date: 03/22/07)

A decomposed body found in the Venice canals is identified as an illegal immigrant with ties to a city councilman (A Martinez). Meanwhile, Raines is sent to a psychiatrist after his odd behavior is noticed. Dr. Kohl: Madeleine Stowe.

Episode 3. Reconstructing Alice (Air Date: 03/30/07)

A homeless woman (Laurie Metcalf) is found dead in an alley, leading Raines to a case of fraud and murder.

Episode 4. Stone Dead (Air Date: 04/06/07)

Raines looks into the personal life of a murdered drug dealer and learns he was an aspiring artist hoping to leave his past behind. Meanwhile, Raines becomes concerned about Charlie's son, who is having trouble dealing with his father's death.

Episode 5. 5th Step (Air Date: 04/13/07)

Raines investigates the murder of his friend's wife, who was found with an Aryan Nation symbol on her chest.

Episode 6. Inner Child (Air Date: 04/20/07)

Raines is deeply disturbed by the case of a murdered and abused child, especially as he imagines what the victim had to endure. Meanwhile, Dr. Kohl sees progress in Raines during their sessions.

Episode 7. Closure (Air Date: 04/27/07)

As the first season ends, Raines helps his ex-wife (Cynthia Watros) investigate her current husband's death, which was ruled an accident; but she is convinced it was murder.
