Season 4 Episodes
Episode 1. The Accidental Role Model (Air Date: 09/17/2004)

Reba ends up in the middle of another squabble between Brock and Barbra Jean, but this time, Barbra Jean may be leaving the marriage and Reba may inadvertently be the cause. Meanwhile, Kyra informs Van and Cheyenne that the reason for all the arguing is that Barbra Jean may have found Brock and Reba in bed with one another.

Episode 2. Mother's Intuition (Air Date: 09/24/2004)

Reba grows concerned about Kyra when she continuously opts out of family events, only to discover that she and Barbra Jean have been spending a lot of sisterly time together. Meanwhile, Cheyenne expresses doubts about the longevity of marriage to Van after thinking about Brock and Barbra Jean's current marital woes.

Episode 3. The Two-Girl Theory (Air Date: 10/01/2004)

Reba reluctantly takes Barbra Jean up on her offer to go hit the clubs, but the evening takes a surprising turn when the two actually have a good time and even meet some guys. Meanwhile, Reba and Cheyenne get upset with Van when he gives Jake the "birds and bees" sex talk without telling them first.

Episode 4. Van's Agent (Air Date: 10/08/2004)

Van is courted by a big sports agent, but when he makes a risque joke not realizing she's gay, he pretends that Reba is also gay to ease the tension. When the agent is invited to dinner by Reba, the agent thinks that more than just dinner is involved. The family of course, wants Reba to keep up the act, too.

Episode 5. Surprise (Air Date: 10/15/2004)

Reba and Cheyenne decide to throw Van a surprise party to make up for their seemingly lackluster response to his new arena football contract, but the surprise is on them when Van tells Cheyenne that he's been traded to Denver's team.

Episode 6. Couple's Therapy (Air Date: 10/22/2004)

Reba pays a visit to Brock and Barbra Jean's marriage therapist after learning that he considers her the source of all the couple's problems. Meanwhile, Cheyenne is left reeling when she learns that Van is thrilled with his new life in Denver, as she naturally expected him to be miserable without her.

Episode 7. All Fore One (Air Date: 11/05/2004)

Reba tries to coax Brock into further pursuing his dream of becoming a professional golfer, if that's where his heart lies, but Barbra Jean fears Reba's advice will only further weaken her marriage. Meanwhile, Cheyenne must calm Van down when he begins to worry that his new football career is costing him precious moments with Elizabeth, who he discovers is already in pre-school.

Episode 8. Hello, I Must be Going (Air Date: 11/12/2004)

Cheyenne grows increasingly upset over Van's time split between home and Denver, but the worries worsen when she learns that he lied in order to go back to Denver sooner than necessary. Meanwhile, Kyra's decision to move back home thrills Reba, but the elated emotion is soon dampened when she realizes it may further distance Kyra from Brock.

Episode 9. Thanksgiving (Air Date: 11/19/2004)

As Thanksgiving dinner approaches, tension rises as Reba and Barbra Jean bicker over who gets to host the event. Even though Barbra Jean and Reba finally agree that Barbra Jean will cook and Reba will have the festivities at her house, Barbra Jean still can't help but feel like an unwanted outsider around Reba's family.

Episode 10. No Boys Upstairs (Air Date: 01/14/2005)

Reba allows Kyra to hang out with her boyfriend alone, but is soon filled with regret over the decision when she finds out from Jake that Kyra broke the house rules and spent the time with him in her own bedroom. Meanwhile, Cheyenne goes to Denver with Van, but is shocked and hurt to find that his life and apartment are both neat and tidy over there.

Episode 11. Diamond Jim Brady (Air Date: 01/21/2005)

Van sustains a football-career-ending injury, but Cheyenne, Reba, and the rest of the family try to keep him from getting too depressed. When he receives a huge compensatory check from the team, however, his spirits quickly begin to bounce back.

Episode 12. Reba and the Nanny (Air Date: 01/28/2005)

Reba learns that Van has hired a nanny so he can continue to have fun in the wake of his lost football career. Barbra Jean continues to pine for Brock, buying a dog and naming it after him in his absence. Meanwhile, Cheyenne begins to find juggling an education and her dad's dental internship increasingly difficult.

Episode 13. Date of Mirth (Air Date: 02/04/2005)

Reba is enlisted by Barbra Jean to help fire her marriage therapist when Barbra Jean becomes attracted to him, but soon things get tricky for Reba when she and the doctor share a mutual attraction and he asks her out.

Episode 14. Reba the Realtor (Air Date: 02/11/2005)

Reba tries to jumpstart a career in real estate by selling off a wary Brock's old condo, but his refusal to take a plum offer leads Barbra Jean to worry that Brock may be keeping the condo to remind him of great bachelor days. Meanwhile, Van has a change of heart after initially trying to avoid chaperoning Kyra's band at a club when he realizes he should manage what is actually a promising new act.

Episode 15. Flowers for Van (Air Date: 02/18/2005)

Feeling like Van has been distracted with other things, Cheyenne finds herself in a quasi-relationship with the father of Elizabeth's playdate. Meanwhile, Reba and Brock become unwitting opponents when she becomes hooked on internet poker.

Episode 16. Who Killed Brock? (Air Date: 02/25/2005)

After Barbra Jean's new dog, Broq, vanishes, she turns to a psychic for help in tracking him down, only to find that a member of the family may be responsible for the dog's disappearance. Soon, each member of the family is out to protect him or herself from blame as alibis are concocted.

Episode 17. The Pageant of Grandmas (Air Date: 04/08/2005)

Jake enters Reba into a grandmother beauty pageant, but when Barbra Jean decides to enter too and prove herself the one true grandma of baby Elizabeth, Reba's competitive side emerges, prompting her to enlist Cheyenne's help in an attempt to win the title.


Reba is elated to learn that Dolly Majors, the city's top real estate broker, wants to interview her for a job, but things get nerve-wracking when Dolly shows up at Reba's house unexpectedly to give her the interview.

Episode 19. Driving Miss Kyra (Air Date: 04/29/2005)

As Kyra preps for her driving test, Barbra Jean and Van try to help by imparting to her some of their own personal unorthodox driving techniques. After passing the test, however, Kyra is deluged with both a safety contract from Barbra Jean and a tracking device-loaded cell phone from Reba. Meanwhile, Van learns that Cheyenne has been withholding information on a personal matter.

Episode 20. Go Far (Air Date: 05/06/2005)

Brock tries to spend more time with Jake, so he decides to become a football coach and convinces Jake to try out for the team. Afraid that the normally unathletic Jake is going to hurt himself, Reba, Barbra Jean, and Cheyenne all try to coax Van into prepping Jake for his tryout.

Episode 21. Help Wanted (Air Date: 05/13/2005)

Reba agrees to hire an out-of-work Van as her assistant to appease Cheyenne, but when Van manages to sell a house that Reba has had on the market for weeks, her working relationship with Van is completely turned upside down.


Reba attempts to keep Van sober when she believes he has a drinking problem. Kyra's band is selected to entertain troops leavinfg for Iraq at a USO concert.
