Audrey and Jeff have been married a long time. Audrey wants to go to an art opening and convinces Jeff to go with her. They invite their newly engaged neighbors Jennifer and Adam. Before the event, Audrey wants to get rid of Jeff's unused bike. The fight causes Jennifer and Adam to question their own decision to get married. Meanwhile, Audrey tries to set up Russell.
Jeff tells Adam that he has a birthday deal with Audrey so he has to be careful to not make her mad at the party. Adam decides he wants his own birthday deal with Jennifer, but when Jennifer wants a deal for her birthday as well Adam worries that it might be too kinky. Meanwhile, Russell tries to find out what Jeff's deal is.
When Jeff is staring at a younger woman, Audrey bets Jeff that he can't get a phone number from a younger woman. Jeff goes out without his wedding ring to test the theory. Audrey gets worried and goes to the club to spy on him. Adam and Jennifer argue over which bed to use--Jennifer's is too small and Adam bought his with his ex-girlfriend.
Audrey comes home excited that she got a promotion at work and is upset when Jeff isn't excited for her. Jeff tries to make it up to her by taking her out, but then they fight again when Audrey can't decide what to wear. Meanwhile, Adam and Jennifer run into trouble debating how to spend their money now that they are engaged.
Russell runs into the "Mrs. Robinson" of his past at the grocery store. He decides he needs to prove to her that he is no longer the inexperienced young boy she remembers.
Jeff hurts himself while helping Jennifer move the couch, so Jennifer gives him a back massage which turns him on. Jeff doesn't know how to tell Audrey about it. Meanwhile, Adam helps Russell deal with a bully.
Audrey worries that Jeff feels the best times in his life were before he met her. Jennifer is worried that she's not Adam's type.
