Jerry and George argue whether an overnight visitor Jerry is expecting is coming with romantic intentions.
Jerry goes to a birthday party with Elaine and he meets a woman that he wants to ask out but never gets the chance to as she leaves before he can ask her name, so he and George stake out her office building.
Jerry's already run-down apartment is robbed when he is out of town, so feeling compelled to move, Jerry turns to George for one of his real estate rental listings. Jerry plans to move into the new apartment but then finds out that George wants it as well but Elaine doesn't care, she just wants to move into either George's or Jerry's old apartment as she needs to get away from her roommate.
