Episode 1. Gangster Movies (Air Date: 09/23/2007)

Sebastian convinces former DA Jessica Devlin to assist him in a double-homicide case after a car bomb kills their only witness. Together they find a new witness and Jessica uses some leverage she has to get the witness into witness protection. Meanwhile, Julie comes back to LA.

Episode 2. For Whom the Skel Rolls (Air Date: 09/30/2007)

Isaac's new girlfriend, Raina, is put in an awkward position when Sebastian prevents the team from telling him that they have re-opened his fiancée’s murder case because the person behind her death may still be at large.

Episode 3. Eye of the Beholder (Air Date: 10/07/2007)

Sebastian's team is working on identifying the killer of a 22-year-old surgically-enhanced aspiring actress when they uncover that the victim's plastic surgeon bartered sex for surgery with her.

Episode 4. Dr. Laura (Air Date: 10/14/2007)

Jessica is stunned when her friend, Medical Examiner Laura Fields, is caught tampering with evidence in their murder case and then accuses Jessica in court of having pressured her for false testimony to gain convictions while Jessica was the D.A.

Episode 5. Student Body (Air Date: 10/21/2007)

Despite their lead suspect's proven bomb-making know-how and his incriminating letter about exacting revenge on his condescending peers, Danny believes the outcast student and convinces Sebastian to let him search for another suspect. Meanwhile, Julie confides to her mother that her new boyfriend has a drinking and substance abuse problem and her mother finds an apartment in Venice.

Episode 6. No Holds Barred (Air Date: 10/28/2007)

When a popular ultimate fighter is the third in the league to commit suicide, Sebastian's team charges the league's powerful CEO with murder for recklessly pushing steroids on his players despite the potential side-effects. Meanwhile, Sebastian and Julie fight over her boyfriend and his substance abuse problem.

Episode 7. In Absentia (Air Date: 11/04/2007)

Without disclosing it to the presiding judge, Sebastian and Danny head to Mexico to attempt to retrieve a defendant who fled to avoid being prosecuted for the murder of his business-partner/mistress, Raina's successful fashion designer friend, Hanna.

Episode 8. In the Crosshairs (Air Date: 11/11/2007)

Sebastian and his team are under added pressure from the mayor to quickly identify, locate and convict a serial freeway sniper who is causing widespread panic in Los Angeles by targeting drivers on the freeway. In the end they must use his wife to convict him. Meanwhile, Sebastian meets with Trevor's parents who have given up on Trevor and then talks with Julie about continuing to care for Trevor.

Episode 9. Burning Sensation (Air Date: 11/18/2007)

While working to identify a serial arsonist whose latest blaze took a fire fighter's life, Sebastian's team discovers that the man the firefighter tried to rescue was actually murdered prior to the fire. Meanwhile, Sebastian helps Julie's boyfriend get a new job.

Episode 10. Every Breath You Take (Air Date: 11/25/2007)

Five years after helping imprison a tennis star's stalker for her stabbing, Jessica is guilt-ridden when the tennis pro is fatally stabbed days after Jessica's failed attempt to uphold the man's conviction during his retrial. The case takes a turn when Jessica learns that the stalker didn't really kill the woman, but he did see who killed her. Sebastian and Jessica must prepare the stalker to be their star witness.

Episode 11. Shaun of the Dead (Air Date: 12/09/2007)

As Sebastian and his team investigate who killed a rock star's long-time friend, they realize that the rocker's brother and agent know far more than they are revealing.

Episode 12. Partners in Crime (Air Date: 01/27/2008)

Dark secrets from Sebastian's past surface after the fatal shooting of his long-time friend and former law firm partner is determined to have been a failed attempt to kill Sebastian.

Episode 13. Bar Fight (Air Date: 04/29/2008)

Sebastian builds a case against an underworld kingpin as part of a covert deal initiated by the State Attorney General's office that could save Sebastian from being disbarred for having covered up the murderous act of a client in 1996.

Episode 14. Leaving Las Vegas (Air Date: 05/06/2008)

After being disbarred in California, Sebastian's Las Vegas gambling spell is soon sidelined by a notoriously crooked casino owner and former client who convinces Sebastian to make use of his Nevada law license to defend him in a murder trial. Sebastian realizes that he's changed and turns against his client and helps convict him. Sebastian also gets his license to practice law in California back.

Episode 15. One Hit Wonder (Air Date: 05/13/2008)

Sebastian tries to get to the bottom of who murdered an aspiring young singer and discovers that several people may have wanted her dead. Meanwhile, Danny makes the mistake of sleeping with a witness who turns out to be a possible suspect.


Sebastian races to catch escaped convict Wayne Callison, a killer Sebastian put away illegally. Wayne vowed revenge and has kidnapped Julie. Sebastian goes to meet Wayne and retrieve Julie.
