Episode 1. Pilot (Air Date: 03/09/2004)

Three married couples, each at a different point in their relationship, start couples therapy. James feels a little daunted by the number of Chelsea's past paramours. Connie's sister boosts Bill's confidence through sex. Ethan is startled to learn from Eleanor that he's going to be a father.

Episode 2. Intercourse, an Official Gathering and a Big Fat Lie (Air Date: 03/16/2004)

Ethan turns to his big brother for advice in his love life with Eleanor. Chelsea tries to break free of James's controlling nature by revealing too much information to his co-workers at an office party. Ginny wants Bill to break it off with his wife, her sister. A kiss between Ginny and Bill rings the death bell for Ginny and Connie's dying mother.

Episode 3. A Breck, a Brother and a Funeral (Air Date: 03/23/2004)

At her mother's funeral, Ginny reveals her affair with Bill and Connie's desire for her coworker even as Bill gets a call about a potential job. James is at first put off by Chelsea's visiting ex, but they then bond over some of her behavior which irritates the both of them. Eleanor's suspicion of Seth's homosexuality comes to a head when Ethan brings it up at a family gathering.

Episode 4. A School, Not Cool and a Fool (Air Date: 03/30/2004)

Alex and Devon start couples therapy so that they can set a good example for their son, but Devon winds up getting into a fight at Rodney's school's parent's night. Eleanor and Ethan try to establish themselves at a party as something other than an expecting couple, but find they only get attention when they mention she's pregnant. James upsets Chelsea by announcing a business trip to New York that she can't attend.

Episode 5. The Right House, the Wrong Gender and a Turn (Air Date: 04/06/2004)

James surprises Chelsea by showing up from New York at a wedding as a surprise. Alex and Devon decide to spend family time with Rodney and agree on a road trip. While looking for a house, Ethan and Eleanor find a seemingly perfect home in the price range where a murder happened to take place.
