Episode 1. Special Powers (Air Date: 10/05/1999)



Isaac confirms rumors that he has brought in a "ratings guy" to help the show; Dana tells Casey they should see other people for six months; Dan attends a funraiser for Hillary Clinton.

Episode 3. Cliff Gardner (Air Date: 10/19/1999)

Dana considers departing from the show; Sam's presence intimidates everyone around the set; people are surprised when he turns down an offer for Isaac's job.

Episode 4. Louise Revisited (Air Date: 10/26/1999)

Jeremy learns that Natalie has been corresponding with his deaf sister Louise; Casey and Jeremy get competitive over an online poll; Casey gets jealous when Dana dates an old high school friend.

Episode 5. Kafelnikov (Air Date: 11/02/1999)

Jeremy holds a "Y2K" test run for the computer system which he claims to have fixed, which results in a blackout; Dan picks up a therapist, who actually just wants to treat him as a patient.

Episode 6. Shane (Air Date: 12/07/1999)

Casey interviews an old friend, Shane McArnold, who says some offensive things which Dana insists on keeping; Dan works out issues regarding his family with Abby, his therapist.


Jeremy stresses over having to fire Corbin; Dana boasts about her brother's athletic skills but learns he is involved in a drug scandal.

Episode 8. The Reunion (Air Date: 12/21/1999)

Dana awaits the arrival of her brother; the crew debates over "Athlete of the Century" and "Secret Santa" gifts; Dan attends midnight mass despite being Jewish.

Episode 9. A Girl Named Pixley (Air Date: 12/28/1999)

Casey goes on a date, causing concern for Dana; Jeremy loses hope in his nomination.


Dana objects further to Casey and Pixley seeing each other; Dan wants to do a story on a famous game that Isaac attended.

Episode 11. The Cut Man Cometh (Air Date: 01/18/2000)

Dana and Casey argue over their casual relationship while covering a fight; Dan's father comes to visit; the staff deals with a correspondent who goes by "the cut man".

Episode 12. The Sweet Smell of Air (Air Date: 01/25/2000)

The crew has the opportunity and subsequently difficult process of interviewing Michael Jordan; Dana deals with the return of Sam; Casey visits Charlie's class for show & tell.

Episode 13. Dana Get Your Gun (Air Date: 02/01/2000)

Jeremy and Natalie argue over which club to hit; Dan takes the night off and the substiute drops the ball as well; Sam and Dana have an intimate moment.

Episode 14. And the Crowd Goes Wild (Air Date: 02/08/2000)

Jeremy and Natalie deal with their break-up drama; Sam explains to Dana that he must leave; Natalie debates whether to turn riot footage over to the police.

Episode 15. Celebrities (Air Date: 02/29/2000)

The gang holds a game of "Celebrities" which excludes Jeremy, who leaves and makes a new friend at a bar; Isaac frustrates himself over the lyrics of a famous song he cannot remember.

Episode 16. The Local Weather (Air Date: 03/07/2000)

Dan ditches his therapy session and vents to Abby; Casey cons the staff with food into watching a late night sports event; Dana finds solace in a church.


Casey and Dana try to make predictions for the NFL draft; Jeremy discusses Jenny with Natalie, omitting the porn star detail; Casey and Dan question their relationship.


Jenny visists the studio on NFL day and bonds with Natalie, upsetting Jeremy; Dan embarasses Casey live on television.


The network cuts the show's coverage of the olympics and threaten Natalie's job; Dan holds a Passover Seder after his mistreatment of Casey, which Jeremy turns into a huge event.

Episode 20. Bells And A Siren (Air Date: 04/04/2000)

Dana tries to rally against Natalie when she has a shot at Saturday Night Live; Casey and Jeremy deal with the books at CSC; Isaac deals with the effect of his stroke on his family.

Episode 21. La Forza Del Destino (Air Date: 05/09/2000)

The show seems to be in trouble as Anthony tries to calm fears; Dana meets a man who may know about the bidding for Continental; Dan tries to convince Casey to move to LA.

Episode 22. Quo Vadimus (Air Date: 05/16/2000)

The auction for Continental collapses, endangering the future of the show; Dan encounters a friend from the past; Casey seeks out new work.
