Protégé Corporation and Versacorp are challenged to design a Marquis Jet Card advertisement. When Versacorp once again loses, the project manager, Jason Curis, is fired.
The two teams are asked to negotiate deals from vendors throughout New York City. After the women win the challenge, Sam Solovey is fired.
Once again, the men lose their challenge, to make more money in one night at Planet Hollywood in Time Square than the company grossed on the previous day last year. Bowie Hogg is fired.
Nick and Kristi get to choose their own teams during corporate restructuring. When Kristi Frank's team loses, she is fired.
Versacorp wins the challenge of raising the most money for charity during a Sotheby's Celebrity Auction. Jessie Conners is fired.
When asked to renovate then lease apartments, the Protégé Corporation wins the challenge. The reward is a picnic at Trump's Bedford mansion. Tammy Lee is fired.
Protégé Corporation brings in more money while marketing a new product, which wins their team a ride in Trump's private helicopter. Ereka Vetrini is fired.
Trump has the two teams select one artist out of four to spotlight at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The team with the highest art sales wins. Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth is fired.
Each team must operate a rickshaw pedicab service for eight hours. Katrina is upset when Bill appears to discount her ideas, but not her looks in appealing to customers. Versacorp makes almost ten times what Protégé earns, winning them a ride around Manhattan Island on a yacht. Heidi Bressler is fired.

Bill joins Protégé to even out the teams as they head to Trump's Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City. Once there, they must come up with a gambling registration plan that encourages high volume gambling. Since Protégé wins, Katrina Campins is fired.
The five remaining contestants must rent out a luxury suite for the highest price. Versacorp wins the challenge and are flown to Trump's Florida country club. Troy McClain is fired.
The final four contestants interview with Trump's advisors. It quickly becomes apparent that Amy Henry and Nick Warnock should be the next fired. This leaves Kwame Jackson to run a Jessica Simpson concert and Bill Rancic to manage a golf tournament. To do this, Kwame and Bill select support teams from previously fired contestants.
Season Finale. Bill and Kwame finish up their tasks. As the results of the golf tournament and Jessica Simpson concert come in, Donald Trump and the former contestants name Bill Rancic "The Apprentice" during a live broadcast.
