The new contestants are met and are given the task of designing a toy for Mattel. The all-female Apex team wins with their remote-control car and get a dinner with Trump in his penthouse. Rob Flanagan is fired.

Episode 2. Scoop Dreams (Air Date: 09/16/2004)

Mosaic's donut flavored ice cream beats out Apex's red velvet ice cream in a competition to develop a new flavor for Ciao Bella Ice Cream. Bradford Cohen is fired for relinquishing his exemption.

Episode 3. Send In The Crowns (Air Date: 09/23/2004)

Apex wins a task to create excitement for a new Crest toothpaste, but ends up a lot over budget. So Mosaic instead wins a trip on the Queen Mary II. Stacie J. Upchurch is fired.

Episode 4. The Last Supper (Air Date: 09/29/2004)

Mosaic gets to meet New York Mayor Rudy Guilianni after getting a higher Zagat rating then Apex while running a restaurant. Jennifer Crisafullil is fired.


A challenge to sell products on the QVC leads Mosaic to win another reward, a tennis match with John McEnroe and Anna Kournikova. Pamela Day is fired.

Mosaic outsells Apex in the task of designing and selling a new clothing line. Apex gets to enjoy a Hugo Boss party, while John Willenborg is fired.

Episode 7. Barking Up The Wrong Tree (Air Date: 10/21/2004)

Trump restructures the teams and then gives them the challenge of building a dog based business. The newly invigorated Apex earns more than Mosaic, thereby getting to meet Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Stacy Rotner is fired.

Episode 8. A Tale Of Two Leaders (Air Date: 10/28/2004)

Elizabeth Jarosz's failure in designing a new advertisement for the New York Police Department gets her fired.

Episode 9. Bringing Down The House (Air Date: 11/04/2004)

Trump challenges the two teams to renovate home on Long Island. Mosaic wins the challenge. Raj Bhakta is fired.

Episode 10. Runaway Pride (Air Date: 11/11/2004)

Mosaic handily beats Apex in the task of opening a bridal shop and selling more dresses during a four-hour sale. As a reward, the team gets to buy themselves diamond jewelry. Chris Russo is fired.

Maria Boren's desire to take over from Wes Moss the campaign for Levi's Jeans gets both of them fired.

Episode 12. The Pepsi Challenged (Air Date: 11/25/2004)

Apex gets to drive Lamborghinis on a racetrack after creating the best bottle and campaign for a new Pepsi soft drink. Andy Litinsky is fired.

Episode 14. Sweet & Lowdown (Air Date: 12/02/2004)

Mosaic beats Apex out in a competition to produce and sell M&Ms' new Mazing candy bar. They get to tour a building site with former Apprentice Bill Rancic. Ivana Ma is fired.

Episode 15. Intellectual Horsepower (Air Date: 12/09/2004)

Kevin Allen and Sandy Ferreira are fired after interviews with top executives at huge corporations. Kelly Perdew and Jen Massey are given the final task of managing a polo match with the help of former contestants.

Episode 16. Decision Time (Air Date: 12/16/2004)

Jen and Kelly finish their final tasks, but Trump still isn't sure who to fire. He decides Kelly Perdew should win the title of "The Apprentice" with help from former contestants and the audience.
