We are introduced to the final five Bachelor candidates. We also meet the next 25 bachelorettes who will vie for his affections and hear exclusive interviews from Trista Rehn, the new Bachelorette and from the first season's new couple, Alex and Amanda.
In the season premiere, we are again introduced to the new Bachelor, Aaron Buerge. He hosts a cocktail party for the beautiful 25 bachelorettes whom he meets for the first time. In the end, Aaron hands out 15 roses sending 10 women home.
The 15 Bachelorettes move into the Ladies Villa and prepare for three group dates. One lady leaves before the rose ceremony and four are sent home.
Aaron's two close friends move into the guest house at the Ladies' Villa and assign one-on-one dates for him. Aaron asks six women to continue to the next round.
The bachelorettes learn their next round of dating will be based on a compatibility test. Aaron goes on three individual dates and one group date. Aaron offers roses to Gwen, Helene, Angela, and Brooke.
The four remaining ladies take Aaron to their hometowns to meet their familes. Angela is sent home.
Aaron takes the final three women on individual exotic dates in Aspen, San Francisco and Kauai. Aaron sends Gwen home.
Aaron takes the last two ladies, Helen and Brooke, home to meet his family. At the final rose ceremony, Aaron chooses Helene and proposes to her.
