Naval officer Andy Baldwin meets the 25 Bachelorettes. Stephanie T. gets the first impression rose. Lindsay, who doesn't get a rose, marches out in a huff, curses and yells.
Two group dates and one individual date with Stephanie T. who won the first impression rose. The first group goes to the Sunset Strip, the second group does a triathalon. On the individual date he gives Stephanie T. another rose. Alexis, Susan, and Tiffany are going home.
The girls are put through a boot camp workout. Bevin breaks her ankle, but gets a rose. Andy goes on a two-on-one date with Peyton and Tessa and chooses Tessa.
Sparks continue to fly between Andy and Bevin, but some girls think she's still "milking" her injury. Andy and four other women hit the slopes for another spirited face-off between the women.
Andy struggles to decide which four women he will escort home to meet their family and friends. The remaining six women spend a relaxing day on his yacht.
Andy escorts each of the remaining four women to their hometowns. At a romantic waterfall setting in Seattle, Bevin takes a real risk, catching Andy completely off guard by revealing that she was once married.
Andy and the three remaining women each have romantic overnight dates in Hawaii. Danielle is voted off, leaving Tessa and Bevin as the remaining two.
Andy takes Bevin and Tessa, the two remaining women, to meet his family. He then has one last date with each of them. The next day he breaks up with Bevin and proposes to Tessa, who accepts.
