Dwayne and Denny Mullet win four tickets to Wrestlemania on the radio, but their plan to take their mother Mandi conflicts with a dinner party held by her husband Roger. After interrupting and souring the party beyond repair, the brothers get Mandi and Roger to accompany them to Wrestlemania where Denny ends up in the ring and Roger ends up getting thrown around.
After crashing into the car of a stuntwoman, Dwayne realizes he has met the girl of his dreams when she punches him out, but after she tells him she's done dating bad boys, he lies and tells her he's actually a wimp. Dwayne then decides to enlist Roger's help in turning himself into a real softie.
Dwayne and Denny get Roger to agree on coming along for a peaceful Mullet family vacation, which turns out to be anything but peaceful as some serious partying goes down.
Dwayne and Denny see their business ruined by floods, and after convincing Roger that they are strapped for money, get him to give them jobs on his game show "Quizzardry." As they discover none of the staff likes Roger, they quickly decide to throw a house party so the crew can get to know the real Roger.
Dwayne and Denny start a backyard wrestling league which triggers a flare-up of an old, longstanding rivalry between the two.
When Roger and Mandi take a little plastic surgery vacation, Dwayne and Denny end up mansionsitting and accidentally ruin Roger's cuban cigars. While holding a fundraising pool party to raise money for replacement cigars, they learn Roger and Mandi are already on their way home.
Dwayne must cut off his mullet after a roofing job causes him to get it stuck in tar, but soon realizes that the loss of his mullet has also robbed him of his powers of so-called "Dwaynergy." Meanwhile, Gordo tries to get his own cool by creating some new catch phrases, as Dwayne slides deeper into uncoolness by hanging around Roger.
When Dwayne and Denny's outrageous antics at one of Roger's parties becomes a front page newspaper headline, the three begin to argue about who's at fault, but Mandi's decision to stop talking to all of them forces the brothers and Roger to find a common ground.
