Season 1 Episodes
Episode 1. Grape Nuts (Air Date: 08/30/1999)

Kim Parker, a student at Santa Monica College, is humiliated when her mother Nikki Parker also enrolls at the same school and pledges Alpha, Alpha, Alpha, a sorority she is also pledging. First, they have to begin the process as "grapes" before they can be deemed fit for sisterhood.

Episode 2. Scammed Straight (Air Date: 09/06/1999)

Kim and Nikki take jobs at a psychic hotline to make extra money, where they become expert sellers, only they realize how little the service provides when they come face to face with one of their callers. Meanwhile, Nikki tries to get in good with Professor Oglevee by keeping an eye on his dog.

Episode 3. Daddy's Girl (Air Date: 09/13/1999)

Kim decides to move in with her dad when Nikki complains that he's being too permissive with their daughter, but some crazy behavior at a party lands Kim, Stevie, and T in jail.

Episode 4. Taking Tae-Bo with My Beau (Air Date: 09/20/1999)

Desiree, Nikki, and Kim sign up for Billy Blanks' Tae-Bo class, where Desiree plans to sign Billy Blanks. Nikki later accidentally knocks out Professor Oglevee while using Tae-Bo.

Episode 5. The Boomerang Effect (Air Date: 09/27/1999)

Nikki, Kim, Anthony, and Stevie try to make extra money by making a calender featuring the hottest guys at Santa Monica College. Anthony is interested in Kim, so Nikki gives him a makeover to get her to notice him.

Episode 6. Three's a Shag (Air Date: 10/04/1999)

When an old friend of Kim's asks her to go to an "Austin Powers" party, she declines, but is upset when he asks Stevie to go. Meanwhile, a young 21 year-old student has designs on Nikki.

Episode 7. Kimberlale (Air Date: 10/18/1999)

Kim displays her fashions at a sorority fashion event where Professor Oglevee's mother takes a shine to them and wants to sell them in her clothing shops, but Nikki gets outraged when she learns that finishing her clothing order means Kim might have to stop going to school.

Episode 8. Quarantine (Air Date: 11/01/1999)

Nikki and Kim find themselves exiled from Mexico during a vacation, which culminates with the two getting a serious virus and being quarantined at home together along with Professor Oglevee, who came by and had no idea they were sick.

Episode 9. And the Band Plays On (Air Date: 11/08/1999)

T, Stevie, and Kim try to enhance the career of their musical group when they meet a record executive at the school's career fair who just happens to know Nikki from way back.

Episode 10. Betting on Love (Air Date: 11/15/1999)

Nikki gets a surprise visit from her ex-fiancee, a serious gambler who swears he'll give up the gambling lifestyle if Nikki will agree to marry him.

Episode 11. It's a Family Affair (Air Date: 11/22/1999)

Nikki's sister and niece come in for Thanksgiving dinner, but when her sister starts telling her what to do, Nikki surprisingly says nothing about the harsh treatment.

Episode 12. Bad to the Bone (Air Date: 01/03/2000)

Nikki becomes a mentor to a 12-year old in Professor Oglevee's mentoring program, only the little girl ends up trying Nikki's patience.

Episode 13. Big is Beautiful (Air Date: 01/24/2000)

Kim's new comedian boyfriend bases his stand-up act on fat jokes, but an offended Nikki turns the tables by creating a stand-up routine full of thin jokes.

Episode 14. Love is a Royal Pain (Air Date: 02/07/2000)

Nikki goes to her high school reunion and meets a former love who cheated on her, but when she introduces him to Kim, the two start dating much to Nikki's dismay.

Episode 15. Funny, Funny Valentine (Air Date: 02/14/2000)

Professor Oglevee plans to ask his Veronica to marry him on Valentine's Day, while Nikki and her old boyfriend begin seeing one another again. Meanwhile, Kim, Stevie, and their "Triple A" bandmates try to get out of dates with T and his fraternity in order to hook up with members of the group Ideal.

Episode 16. Trading Places (Air Date: 02/21/2000)

Nikki is baffled when Professor Oglevee's twin brother takes his place at a charity auction and makes a play for her. Meanwhile, Stevie and Kim try to get rid of their own problematic dates.

Episode 17. A Simple Plan (Air Date: 03/20/2000)

When shopping for a car, Nikki and Kim are unable to get Frank to discount a Saturn for them, so they buy a car at a police auction and learn that there is $250,000 stashed under a tire. The thrills turn to chills when a seedy character turns up to reclaim his car.

Episode 18. It's a Spring Bling Thing (Air Date: 04/10/2000)

Kim's band gets a gig performing at a spring break concert in Palm Springs. Meanwhile, Professor Oglevee's argument with Veronica further impedes Nikki's chance to be alone with him.

Episode 19. Moving on Out (Air Date: 05/01/2000)

When Kim decides to move in with Stevie, Nikki and Stevie's mom, Sophia, aren't ready to let go and intrude upon a housewarming party after they aren't invited. Meanwhile, T's interest in Kim and Stevie's building manager dampens when he finds out she used to be a man.

Episode 20. Unforgiven (Air Date: 05/08/2000)

Nikki's parents come to town to say their "I do's" all over again, but her Dad is still unable to deal with the old wound of Nikki getting pregnant at a young age.

Episode 21. Since I Lost My Baby (Air Date: 05/15/2000)

After Professor Oglevee and Veronica split up, Nikki and Veronica try to spoil Professor Oglevee's new relationship with Angela when they arrive for a party celebrating the end of the Veronica relationship.


After receiving a job offer in Paris, Jerel propses to Kim and they head to Vegas to elope. Professor Oglevee grudgingly takes Nikki on a date, but when they learn the news of the elopement, both make a beeline for Vegas to stop the marriage.
