Episode 1. Wedding Bell Blues (Air Date: 09/04/2000)

Nikki and Professor Oglevee are unable to find Kim and Jerel, so they split a hotel room for the night, at which time Nikki has a nightmare about what life will be like for Kim if she marries Jerel.

Episode 2. Breaking Up is Hard to Do (Air Date: 09/11/2000)

Newly married Jerel and Kim ready to go to Paris, Jerel's mother shows up and creats some conflict. Meanwhile, Professor Oglevee splits with Veronica but is unable to get over her while dating other women.

Episode 3. The Oddest Couple (Air Date: 09/18/2000)

Professor Oglevee becomes depressed after hearing about Veronica's engagement, and even fails to notice that Nikki's moved in with him. Meanwhile, Kim thinks about having a male roommate after Stevie decides to move back in with her parents.

Episode 4. Reunited (Air Date: 09/25/2000)

When Nikki moves in with Kim, conflict arises as she begins to dominate the living arrangement. Meanwhile, Professor Oglevee forms a neighborhood watch after a burglar begins making the rounds.

Episode 5. J.C. Bowl (Air Date: 10/02/2000)

Nikki, T, and Stevie join forces to compete in an academic competition, and Professor Oglevee helps them prepare. When they bring on another member to the team, the brainy K.B., he soon gets distracted when he falls for Kim and decides to pick her over the competition.

Episode 6. Whassup With Heyyy? (Air Date: 10/09/2000)

T, Stevie, and Kim all get inspired by the "Whassup Guys" to come up with a slogan of their own and put it on t-shirts to sell. When T splits from the group and gets his own successful slogan, he is sued by Nikki after she realizes she created his slogan.

Episode 7. Scary Kim (Air Date: 10/30/2000)

On Halloween, Kim gets ready for her birthday by pulling a few pranks on friends, but the tables are turned when a stranger turns up and leaves a scary, threatenting note. Kim's belief that someone wants to kill her is further strengthened when people inexplicably start vanishing.

Episode 8. Election 2000 (Air Date: 11/06/2000)

Kim decides to run for class president in the school election against the boisterous Regina, but when Nikki starts answering all of Kim's questions for the school press, she gets the idea to run for the position herself.

Episode 9. Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow (Air Date: 11/13/2000)

When Kim struggles to finish an assignment for a creative writing class, she begins fantasizing about a life that resembles the soap opera "Dallas."

Episode 10. Turkey Day Blues (Air Date: 11/20/2000)

Kim ends up having to find a new place to have Thanksgiving dinner after she and Nikki have an argument over the stuffing. After meeting a homeless woman on the street, Kim accompanies her to a homeless shelter where she finds find the gang serving up dinner.

Episode 11. Cheers (Air Date: 12/11/2000)

Kim and Nikki form a cheerleading squad after Nikki is turned down for the college squad because she doesn't fit the ideal of the svelte cheerleader. Meanwhile, Professor Oglevee is fixed up with an older woman by the daughter he was trying to woo.

Episode 12. Mama, I Want to Sing (Air Date: 01/15/2001)

As new church choir director, Nikki tries to get Kim to become the new soloist. When Kim backs out, Nikki takes over, despite her inability to sing. Meanwhile, Nikki begins to believe the Reverend has a romantic interest in her.

Episode 13. Field of Dreams (Air Date: 02/05/2001)

Stevie and T get ready for an African-American culture festival. Meanwhile, Nikki decides to pay homage at the festival to her uncle, a former ball player in the Negro League who she later discovers was also a convict.

Episode 14. Blind Date Mistake (Air Date: 02/12/2001)

Nikki and Kim go on a date on the show "Blind Date" with a father and son, but while Kim's date is just right for her, Nikki gets increasingly frustrated with her own date.

Episode 15. Who's Your Mama? (Air Date: 02/19/2001)

A woman believes that she was switched at birth with Kim and that Nikki is her biological mother. Meanwhile, when Professor Oglevee asks Stevie and T to clean his apartment, they mistakenly dump an urn with the ashes of his uncle.

Episode 16. Hands Off, Grandma (Air Date: 02/26/2001)

Nikki's nana comes for a visit and clashes with Nikki when she makes a play for Professor Oglevee.

Episode 17. Single Black Female (Air Date: 02/26/2001)

The presence of Nikki's new friend begins to create some tension within Nikki and Andell's relationship. Meanwhile, Kim tries to exist on a diet that won't involve solid food.

Episode 18. Kim Who? (Air Date: 03/12/2001)

Kim has an accident on T's scooter and suffers from amnesia.

Episode 19. In Sickness and in Health (Air Date: 03/19/2001)

Nikki pretends to be a surgeon to be near Oglevee during his operation.

Episode 20. Et Tu Andell? (Air Date: 04/30/2001)

Andell starts taking dance lessons from Nikki's ex-husband.

Episode 21. Love and Hisses (Air Date: 05/07/2001)

Professor Oglevee tries to get back in Toni's good graces after their disastrous date and tells Nikki about Kenny's seedy motices, while Andell tells her to just give Kenny a chance. Meanwhile, T and Stevie suspect Kim's new beau is cheating on her.

Episode 22. Love the One You're With (Air Date: 05/14/2001)

Kim agrees to look over Michael's daughter Alisa. Professor Oglevee visits a therapist and his true feelings for Nikki come out, just as Nikki decides to resume her relationship with Kenny. Meanwhile, news of a deadly accident at Michael's job raises the question of whether or not he has made it out alive.
