Bobby and Jimmy represent a dentist on trial for the death of one of his patients. George Vogelman returns to Ellenor.

Jimmy tries to reason with Henry Olson to get him to give up the real murderer, but familial ties run deep. Bobby stands to win a murder case over Helen on a technicality.

The office is sent into a panic when a picture of a nun holding a recent paper reminds them of the man who stabbed Lindsay. Ellenor seeks the protective assurance of a gun. Rebecca tries to defend her client from a confession he was paid to give. Judge Kitelson tries to surprise Jimmy by showing up naked in his apartment. Ellenor is also surprised to find Helen knocked out in the bathtub and George in a nun costume wielding a knife.
