Season 5 Episodes
Episode 1. Extraction (Air Date: 01/10/2006)

The Strike Team tries to end local racial hostility between blacks and Mexicans, while Dutch and Claudette stir up a school race riot as racial tensions flare up. Vic is offered an early retirement deal as the department revamps its rough appearance. Meanwhile, Danny decides to keep her baby's daddy a secret, and Julien takes on the role of Tina's training officer, while Lem is visited by Internal Affairs.

Episode 2. Enemy of Good (Air Date: 01/17/2006)

Lem is interviewed by Lt. Kavanaugh about the Strike Team's illegal activities, putting his allegiance to Vic front and center. The Strike Team looks into a multiple homicide spree tied to an extortion scheme. Repercussions are abound for Julien and Danny after Tina is unable to prove herself as an officer. Meanwhile, Claudette and Dutch collar an amorous preacher for several killings.

Episode 3. Jailbait (Air Date: 01/24/2006)

The Strike Team sends Tina out to handle a sex trafficking ring while it figures out how to manuever around IAD's investigation. Meanwhile, Claudette reopens an old case of Dutch's, which leads to friction, and Kavanaugh comes to talk to Vic at the Barn.

Episode 4. Tapa Boca (Air Date: 01/31/2006)

Vic discovers the truth about Emolia, while Becca tries to determine whether or not she will take on the Strike Team as a client. Dutch and Claudette look into the case of a road rage incident which had fatal consequences. Meanwhile, Corrine has words with Kavanaugh, while Julien and Tina's personal relationship hits the rocks.

Episode 5. Trophy (Air Date: 02/07/2006)

Vic and the Strike Team look into a prescription drug ring, while at the same time, Kavanaugh tries to jumpstart his fleeting investigation into the team. Meanwhile, Claudette and Dutch take on the case of a missing person, but Dutch is adamant about finding out the secret truth Claudette is keeping to herself.

Episode 6. Rap Payback (Air Date: 02/14/2006)

Kavanaugh takes an office in The Barn, creating trouble for Vic and The Strike Team. Meanwhile, Dutch and Claudette find themselves once again pursuing a serial killer from the past, and Julien's previous homosexual experiences come to light, further straining his relationship with Tina.

Episode 7. Man Inside (Air Date: 02/21/2006)

A unified Strike Team begins to buckle under the weight of Kavanaugh's probing investigation, and they consider taking an offer from a different police division. Meanwhile, Claudette is spent after a trying attempt to wear down Kleavon Gardner.

Episode 8. Kavanaugh (Air Date: 02/28/2006)

Kavanaugh makes a desperate deal with Antwon Mitchell in his ongoing quest to nail the Strike Team for its crimes, all the while trying to deal with the difficult return of his ex-wife.

Episode 9. Smoked (Air Date: 03/07/2006)

Vic and the team find their hands tied when their assets are frozen, prompting them to try and determine another way to spring Lem from prison. Meanwhile, Tina nearly costs the safety of an undercover detective, while Corinne attempts to discuss paternity matters with Danny.

Episode 10. Of Mice and Lem (Air Date: 03/14/2006)

Lem decides to enter a guilty plea for the heroin charges. Vic works with Antwon to make sure Lem goes unharmed during his prison term, but is soon forced to handle the matter himself when the deal with Antwon falls through. Meanwhile, Julien personally helps wrap up a longstanding case, while Dutch and Claudette face the possible end of their partnership after a stunning series of events unfolds.

Episode 11. Postpartum (Air Date: 03/21/2006)

Vic shuttles Lem out of the country and tries to set him up in Mexico. Kavanaugh teams up with David in a final attempt to nail Vic, thinking Vic's efforts to help Lem will give them the legal ammunition they need. Meanwhile, Danny finally has it out with her baby's daddy, and Dutch continues to fume at Claudette and decides to try and relocate to a new precinct.
