Chief Wiggum is on the case of who shot Mr. Burns, arresting all the wrong people before finding evidence that points to Homer. Lisa does her own investigation and discovers that Maggie is the real shooter.

Episode 3. Radioactive Man (Air Date: 09/24/1995)

Bart and all his friends line up to audition for the part of "Fallout Boy" when the film "Radioactive Man" comes to shoot in Springfield.


After a series of mishaps around the house, child-welfare investigators come to the house and put the kids in a foster home.

Episode 5. Bart Sells His Soul (Air Date: 10/08/1995)

Bart sells his soul to Milhouse for five dollars, and Moe changes the bar to pull in the family crowd.

Episode 6. Lisa the Vegetarian (Air Date: 10/15/1995)

Lisa decides that she can no longer eat meat and is outraged when Homer has a neighborhood barbecue.

Episode 7. Tree House of Horror VI (Air Date: 10/29/1995)

"Attack of the 5o ft. Eyesores" Paul Anka is called in to help Springfield fight giant advertising characters that have come to life. "Nightmare on Evergreen Ter." Willie is menacing the school kids like Freddy Krueger. "Homer 3" Homer falls into a strange 3-D world.

Homer eats like a pig to qualify for disability, but Marge is repulsed by his flabby physique.

Episode 9. Mother Simpson (Air Date: 11/19/1995)

Homer's mother comes for a visit and reveals why she had abandoned the family years ago.


While on a prison work detail at an air show, Sideshow Bob slips away and steals a nuclear bomb that makes him radioactive.


Clips from early "Simpsons" as well as supposed outtakes are featured in this retrospective.

Bart is caught shoplifting a video game from a store and Marge is devastated when she finds out.

Homer's bowling team is on a roll until their sponsor, Mr. Burns, demands to join the group. A prank by Bart at school leads Principal Skinner to adopt uniforms for students.

Episode 14. Two Bad Neighbors (Air Date: 01/14/1996)

George and Barbara Bush move in across the street where Bart gets a spanking from the ex-President, and Homer has his parenting skills criticized.


Marge picks up a discounted designer suit and gets the family invited to the Springfield Country Club.

The Government sells all of Krusty's possessions after Bart inadvertently alerts the IRS to his tax fraud.

Episode 17. Lisa the Iconoclast (Air Date: 02/18/1996)

Lisa faces off with the curator of the Springfield Historical Society when her research turns up some unknown and unpopular facts about Jebediah Springfield.

Smithers takes a vacation and has Homer fill in as Mr. Burns' personal assistant.

Episode 19. The Day the Violence Died (Air Date: 03/17/1996)

Bart demands justice after he discovers that the man who created "Itchy & Scratchy" was ripped off.

Episode 20. A Fish Called Selma (Air Date: 03/24/1996)

Selma strikes up a romance with Troy McClure, who wants to get married after his agent tells him it's good for his career.

Episode 21. Bart on the Road (Air Date: 03/31/1996)

Durning "spend a day at work with your parent day," Bart makes a fake driver's licence and Martin makes a bundle on the stock market. Together with Milhouse and Nelson, they all drive to Tennessee.

Bart never really listened to Grampa's war stories until Mr. Burns tries to kill his former commrade in arms and claim a treasure their battalion found during the Big One.

A plan to deport all illegal immigrants from Springfield has popular support until it is discovered that Apu would have to go as well.

Homer goes to a concert that features freakish sideshow acts, which he joins with his catching a cannonball with his belly routine.

While on vacation at the beach, Lisa plays dumb to make friends with the cool kids.
