When Homer is forced to have his jaw wired shut, he learns to actually listen to his family for the first time.

Marge faces a dilemma when her former boyfriend Artie comes to Springfield and offers her $1 million to sleep with him, which could pay for Homer's snore-prevention surgery.


Bart starts dating a wealthy girl, whose father subsequently provides royal treatment for the Simpsons family.

Homer walks in on Apu cheating on his wife.


Lisa makes friends with college girls who presume she is much older; Bart is forced to live in a bubble.

Homer faces the electric chair after neglecting to care for an elderly woman.


Homer causes a blackout which leads to looting and rioting in Springfield; thus he takes over as chief of police to handle the situation.
