  • Emma Watson Wore What?! Best and Worst Dressed at the MTV Movie Awards
By: Lindsey DiMattina June 04, 2012 7:37am EST
We saw plenty of good and bad at this year's MTV Movie Awards: Russell Brand joked about ex-wife Katy Perry during his introduction speech; Mark Wahlberg threatened an audience member; and Kristen Stewart couldn't keep her hands off of herself (what else was she supposed to do without Robert Pattinson?). But who looked the best (and who looked the worst) on the red carpet? While some celebrities like Charlize Theron and Emma Stone stunned in their beautiful dresses, others like Emma Watson and Nikki Reed chose get-ups more outlandish than the awards' categories. • Justin Bieber Knocked Out After Walking into a Glass Wall
By: Lindsey DiMattina June 01, 2012 4:46am EST
Justin Bieber walked into a glass wall. No, shockingly, this is not the beginning of a joke. The 18-year-old singer did in fact suffer a concussion after he walked into a wall backstage at his concert in Paris on Thursday, TMZ is reporting. Apparently, in between takes, Bieber headed backstage, where he bumped into the glass surface. The singer told TMZ that he felt disoriented, but he still went back onstage to finish his songs before passing out in his dressing room.  But don't worry about the Biebs: Doctors say he only suffered a mild concussion. After the incident, Bieber even felt good enough to tweet to his fans. "thanks for the love but there are alot of people out there who need prayers. im fine. just smacked my head and needed some water. all good" he wrote. Bieber even joked about what happened by challenging the glass to a duel: "i will see u again Glass. I will have my revenge. BIEBER vs GLASS. MGM LAS VEGAS 2013. lol. #GottaLaughAtYourself" Maybe now he can put those Mike Tyson boxing lessons to some good use.  Too bad this isn't the first time Bieber has gotten up-close and personal with glass. About two years ago, Bieber had a run-in with a revolving door. • Fairest of the Brawl: Princesses-Turned-Badass Heroes
By: Lindsey DiMattina May 31, 2012 11:11am EST
Princesses have historically been portrayed as the dainty, gracious, soft-spoken belles of the ball. But we prefer when they stray from routine — when they channel their inner badass like Kristen Stewart in this weekend's Snow White and the Huntsman. Who needs seven dwarves to battle the Evil Queen (Charlize Theron) when you've got some serious swordplay skills?  But Stewart's version of Snow White isn't the first princess to become the fairest of the brawl. Here are other princesses before (and after) her that make up the royal badass ranks! Click Here to launch our Badass Princesses Gallery! • Adam Levine Loves Attention
By: Lindsey DiMattina May 31, 2012 7:42am EST
We love Adam Levine like a crazy Christina Aguilera hat. But it's too often the guy releases free-flowing quotes that warrant a foot in a Jagger-sized mouth. The Maroon 5 singer, who has been romantically linked to Kirsten Dunst, Lindsay Lohan, Maria Sharapova, Paris Hilton, once again sat down for a revealing chat, this time with Details, with whom he discussed topics ranging from strippers and sex. So, without further ado, we give you quotes from his interview that belong in the Schmidt's Venerable Douchebag Jar: 1. "I've always felt a little misrepresented in the world. I felt like people only knew me as a singer who dated pretty girls. A little bit of a bimbo. Maybe I was kind of a bimbo. I was the music dude that was naked all the time with the girls, and that's fine, no problem with that." 2. "There are two kinds of men. There are men who are f**king misogynist pigs, and then there are men who really love women, who think they're the most amazing people in the world. And that's me. Maybe the reason I was promiscuous, and wanted to sleep with a lot of them, is that I love them so much."  3. "You know when you're 14 and terrified to talk to a girl? I didn't suffer much from that." 4. "I saw my first stripper here," he said while at Los Angeles' Conway Recording Studios, and latter added, "The stripper wasn't mine."  5. "Nothing wrong with making money ... I'm always quoting the part in Jerry Maguire when Cuba Gooding talks about the 'kwan': 'love, respect, community, and the dollars, too.' I love that s**t. Nobody has it all, but for me to even come close is amazing."  6. Levine doesn't want to be the typical rock star from the '80s sailing around the world on yachts and snorting line after line of cocaine: "I guess I'm more a houses-and-weed guy." 7. "Do I really have moves like Jagger? F**king A, no, I don't. But I was going to tell everybody that I did and hoped they believed me." 8. "You know what yoga's good for? I'll tell you what yoga is good for: F**k-ing." 9. "I love attention. I can't stand not having it." 10. "We're counting on the cultural-feedback loop to pull a Journey on us ... Journey wasn't cool. Now I can't go out one night without somebody screaming the words to that f**king song. That's what we're banking on. We'll play Coachella in 15 years."  Watch a behind-the-scenes video of Levine below! More: Adam Levine Joins the Celebrity Fragrance Game 'Voice' Star Adam Levine Splits From Model GF Anne Vyalitsyna
  • Kourtney Kardashian's Baby Shower: What Really Happened Vs. What We'll See on Camera
By: Lindsey DiMattina May 30, 2012 9:01am EST
Kourtney Kardashian is just weeks away from welcoming her second child, a little girl, to the world. While she has already been through the process once before with her baby daddy Scott Disick, when she gave birth to their son Mason Dash Disick (who is now two years old), Kardashian couldn't help but celebrate her upcoming stork delivery with an as-to-be expected, decadent Kardash Bash on May 12. Though it may not have been as grand as her sister Kim Kardashian's wedding or as foo foo as her half-sister Kendall Jenner's Sweet 16 (both events were televised), Kourtney's baby shower didn't fall short on expectations. While the reporting is in about the exclusive shindig, it's possible that this baby shower could be edited to hype up the entertainment factor for the Karashians' reality series. Here are seven situations that occurred at the shower as per Us Weekly — but we also project how these scenarios can make it to the TV screen (if the party was in fact filmed like most Kardashian events). Which is more entertaining: the real life fact or Hollywood.com's fetched script? Situation 1 Real: Sisters Kim and Khloe attended to all of the details of the shower What Will Happen on Camera: Kim will probably be sitting around talking to Kanye West about how boring the party is, or she will just simply be googling her name (she loves to do that!). Poor Khloe will be the one stuck handling every minute matter as she is the youngest out of the three sisters. Situation 2 Real: The guests reportedly wore "Hamptons style finery." What Will Happen on Camera: This is just an excuse for Scott Disick to parade around in one of his purple Barney Shirts. Even if he is from Long Island, most people who spend the summer in the Hamptons don't dress like they just stepped out of a Candy Store. Situation 3 Real: Kourtney's son Mason was awed by the three babies that were at the party. What Will Happen on Camera: Mason will be seen as the social butterfly and the big brother, who is an expert at playing with babies (but in his mind, this was probably just a moment of wow. His toddler thought process: "Do I have friends now?"). Situation 4 Real: Cotton Candy was served. What Will Happen on Camera: This is Hollywood. None of these girls will eat, except for maybe Kourtney, who is expecting. Situation 5 Real: Everyone posed for pleasant pics. What Will Happen on Camera: Scott Disick will probably be missing for the photo shoot. He's probably sulking in another room or storming away in his fancy sport car because either Kourtney or Kris Jenner bashed him earlier for being a loser. Situation 6 Real: Khloe gives Kourtney a present of tutus for her niece. What Will Happen on Camera: The tutus will be wrapped in a Dash bag. Hello! Product placement for the Kardashian stores! Situation 7 Real: It was a pink themed party. What Will Happen on Camera: The pink will be so overwhelming that we won't even notice Kim's gigantic behind on the screen. • Doc Watson, Folk Singer-Songwriter, Dies at 89
By: Lindsey DiMattina May 30, 2012 4:58am EST
Arthel Lane "Doc" Watson, a Folk singing and songwriting legend, passed away on Tuesday at a hospital in Winston-Salem, N.C., according to the Associate Press via The Washington Post. The 89-year-old musician, who went blind at the age of one, had recently underwent abdominal surgery which resulted in his hospitalization. During his life, Watson won seven different Grammy Awards and even a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. His flatpicking skills helped make the guitar a leading instrument in the '50s and '60s (over the fiddle or banjo) — and he recorded a total of 60 albums. He will be long remembered for his hits like "Shady Gove" and "The Cuckoo Bird." Rest in peace, Doc. Our Spidey sense is telling us Tori Spelling has been inspired by this summer's Amazing action superhero. The 39-year-old expecting actress stepped out in this web-tastic monokini during a Memorial Day BBQ Monday. Hey, at least it's not on Broadway. Spelling, who is expecting her fourth baby, was pictured walking with her husband Dean McDermott and their daughter Hattie over the weekend. • Get Red Hot Like 'Revenge,' Plus More TV Summer Style Trends — PICS
By: Lindsey DiMattina May 25, 2012 9:29am EST
It's Memorial Day Weekend. You know what that means — time to throw away those beat-up boots and step outside in a pair of flip-flops for the first time since the Fall TV season sucked you into your couch and out of the outdoors. Want to make sure you look like Revenge's Emily Thorne or Modern Family's Gloria Pritchett when you step out your door? You won't — remember, you just spent eight months on your sofa — but here are some of TV's summer style trends to give you inspiration. From a red-hot color scheme to super-short dresses, Hollywood.com has you covered (and sometimes uncovered) this season. Revenge is Red-Hot Not quite as hot as Jack Porter, but, still, we've seen plenty of the color on the ABC drama to match Emily Thorne's angry soul. Mad Men: Flower Power and Bright Colors It's easy to grow (heh) to love Trudy and Peggy's garden-inspired '60s wear. With a Megan-esque sunny disposition to match, Don Draper won't have any choice but to turn his head. Zou Bisou!  Get Shorty Like Gloria from Modern Family Gloria's garbs might be as loud as her speaking voice, but, as they say, if you've got it, flaunt it. Her short, form-fitting dresses might just be what you need to attract your own Jay... or embarrass your own Manny. Once Upon a Time You Had a Fun, Summer Ride If you had your happily ever after, you'd probably opt for your own Porsche or Lamborghini — but, for now, get inspired by Emma Swan's bug, August's bike, and Regina's horse to embrace your unconventional, cheaper ride. J.Lo's American Idol Crazy Curly 'Dos Get a coif to match your hair-curling screams listening to her critiques. Keira Knightley is in love, actually. The 27-year-old Oscar-nominated actress just got engaged to her rocker boyfriend, James Righton. "I can confirm that Keira is engaged to be married to James Righton," Knightley's rep tells the UK's Daily Mail. Knightley and Righton have been together for 15 months, after being introduced by their mutual friend Alexa Chung last year. Since the couple has kept their courtship low-key and away from the public eye, here are some things you might not have known about Knightley's husband-to-be: 1. Righton, 28, is the keyboard player and a vocalist for the British indie rock group, The Klaxons. 2. He was a teacher before becoming a rock star. 3. Righton grew up Stratford-upon-Avon in England, which is about a two-hour drive from Knightley's birthplace of Teddington, London, England. 4. He went to high school with his band mate, Simon Taylor-Davis. The duo met the band's third founding member, Jamie Reynolds, through Reynolds' girlfriend. 5. Righton reportedly dated the aforementioned matchmaker Chung before she introduced him to Knightley, according to Top News Today. 6. With his band, the rocker took the stage with Rihanna back in 2008 at the BRIT Awards. (Watch the performance below!) • Leg-Bomb! Nina Dobrev & Kim Kardashian Pull an Angelina in Cannes
By: Lindsey DiMattina May 25, 2012 6:46am EST
Angelina Jolie must have known she'd be starting a trend when she wore a revealing black gown to the Oscars on Feb. 26. Not only did the dress have a dangerously high slit, but then she had to go and do that pose (yep, it still has a life of its own on twitter, @AngiesRightLeg). Well, now it looks like some of the biggest names in Hollywood have decided they want to be just like Angelina (don't let your mind go there — Jennifer Aniston definitely isn't part of the bunch). Janet Jackson, Kim Kardashian, The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev, and even pop star Jessie J all pulled "Angelinas" at AmfAR's Cinema Against Aids Gala on May 24 in Cannes, France. Tell us — who do you think struck the Angelina pose best?
