  • Real-Life 'Revenge': How to Experience The Hamptons Like Emily Thorne
By: Lindsey DiMattina May 23, 2012
From 10,000 square-foot mansions, expensive cars, and private sailboats to exclusive brunches and over-the-top Black Tie engagement parties, the Hamptons-set Revenge socialites seem to have it all. Except a simple life, of course. While the ABC series is filmed in North Carolina, Hollywood.com has come up with a guide for how to experience the real-life Revenge in the Hamptons this summer. Hollywood.com is also not responsible for any murder, elaborate schemes, or ridiculous sweater vests that might take place during your visit.  Porter's Stowaway Tavern: Try Montauk's Surf Lodge Jack Porter might want to embark on a mission across the world, but the rest of us would be quite content to grab a drink (and the dreamy bartender) at a relaxing family joint like his Tavern. Like Stowaway, Montauk's Surf Lodge is right on the water, and has a lively nightlife scene. Amanda may not be on hand to pour dollar shots into your mouth, but you can enjoy schmoozing Charlotte-style. Just make sure to bring your ID — phone numbers won't buy the underage entry. Porter's Stowaway Tavern Surf Lodge The South Fork Inn: Mill House Inn (East Hampton) You wouldn't trust the soup at Revenge's South Ford Inn, but no need to be suspicious at the charming Mill House Inn in East Hampton. Note: Your stay likely to be far less dramatic than poisoned, cheating husband Conrad Grayson's. South Fork Inn Mill House Inn Grayson Manor: Calvin Klein's House in Southampton While the house used on the show is actually located in Wilmington, N.C. (according to HookedonHouses.net), you can still take a drive to Southampton to see a mansion fitting of Grayson Manor. This property belongs to iconic fashion designer Calvin Klein. • 'Community’ Star Alison Brie Dating Younger Man Dave Franco — PIC
By: Lindsey DiMattina May 23, 2012
Community star Alison Brie appears to be off the market. The 29-year-old actress, who plays Annie Edison in the hit series, was seen grocery shopping with a much younger man over the weekend in West Hollywood, Calif. Brie and 21 Jump Street star Dave Franco, 26, were holding hands as the strolled through the aisles of the supermarket. How cute! While the photo is revealing enough, Us Weekly also quotes a source who says that Brie (who also plays Trudy, Pete Campbell's wife, in Mad Men) and Franco have been seeing each other for "at least five or six months" now. And, back in April, Franco showed up to a concert that Brie was playing with her group, The Girls, in New York. These two make an adorable couple, even if she is older than him. And who knows, maybe Brie can use Franco as a way to make either Jeff Winger or Mr. Campbell jealous? And if they get that serious, Franco's older brother James Franco could probably officiate the wedding. Given all that the elder Franco has accomplished, it wouldn't be that far fetched for him to get ordained for the occasion. What do you think of this couple? Are they the perfect match? • 'Best in Show' Actor Michael McKean Hospitalized After Getting Hit by a Car
By: Lindsey DiMattina May 23, 2012
What was supposed to be a pleasant afternoon stroll quickly landed Michael McKean in the hospital on Tuesday. The 64-year-old Laverne & Shirley and Best in Show star was taking a walk in the Upper West Side of New York City when a car reportedly went out of control and hit him on the sidewalk. McKean was rushed to St. Luke's Hospital where he was treated for a broken leg. “Hopefully, he’ll be fine,” the actor's manager, Harriet Sternberg, told the New York Post. “He has sustained multiple injures and we are trying to find out the extent of other injuries." The FDNY also told the Post that the three passengers in the vehicle were taken to hospital as well. According to People, McKean is in stable condition. But, he is anxious to return to Broadway where he is currently working in The Best Man. “He’s upset about missing his curtain,” Sternberg said to the Post. “He’s never missed a performance in his career.” More: Samuel L. • Forget Bar Refaeli: This Is Hollywood.com's Hot Hunks List of 2012 (So Far)
By: Lindsey DiMattina May 22, 2012
Sure, Bar Refaeli is good at topping Maxim magazine's 2012 Hot 100 list and attractively rolling around in sheets, but, for us, it's not always about the the looks. (Okay, so, most of the time it is. But we dare you to tell us if there's another reason you've already decided to buy pre-sale tickets for Magic Mike.) Or about the ladies — what about the hottest, most talented men in the world? Between a Baldwin revealing a secret musical talent and a handsome actor upstaging co-stars in a stripping contest, these are the gifted men who have us totally buggin'. (Remember the '90s, guys?!) Our ranking standards? We judge based on which man puts the biggest smile on our faces. From top to bottom, here we go: 1. Joe Manganiello: Yes, the handsome True Blood star may make us growl as shirtless werewolf hunk Alcide, but we're downright panting imagining his strapping stripper role in Magic Mike. Oh, wait, we said we'd judge based on talent? Let me rephrase: We're downright panting imagining the Scream Award-winning actor's strapping stripper role in Magic Mike.  2. Henry Cavill: It's a bird, it's a plane... wait, no, it's Henry Cavill, reviving Superman's place on the big screen! Being able to graduate from sucking up to King Henry VIII to big-budget film — Cavill is a promising rising star, he is, he is.  3. Mark Zuckerberg: The newly wed billionaire may have lost a few friends after Facebook's stock plummeted yesterday, but we'd still respond to his pokes. 4. Prince Harry: Our sincere apologies to Wate. Or Killiam? Or why am I trying to make a nickname for the couple? But after seeing prince debut his music talents playing the tambourine in a music video, we'd certainly bow to this royal rock star.  5. The Boys of One Direction (Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson): They may have placed third on the seventh season of The X Factor UK, but now they are tearing up the radio... and making us wonder if we should report ourselves to our neighbors. 6. Phillip Phillips: A name so nice, we have to say it twice! The American Idol Top 2 finisher makes us wish "We've Got Tonight"... and many, many more nights. 7. Ben Feldman: We all love Jon Hamm, but Mad Men has a new Don Draper. But, unlike the series' serious, dour leading man, Feldman spirited Michael Ginsberg is as faithful as he is creative. We'd like him to hit us in the face with a Sno Ball. Euphemisms!  8. Adam Scott: The ideal candidate for romance is the kind of guy who "super-did" Model UN in high school, makes a mean calzone (when he's not working on his claymaysh), and has his very own Bat-suit. Adam Scott's Parks and Rec character Ben Wyatt meets all these requirements. Plus, he's handsome and friends with Jon Hamm. We have an in! 9. Michael Phelps: This year is a big one for Phelps: He confirmed to Anderson Cooper on 60 Minutes that he will be retiring after the London Olympics are done. And we'd be there to share many a five-dollar foot-longs with the athlete. C'mon, minds out of the gutter, people.  10. Kanye West: Imma let you finish, but the musician would no doubt interrupt us if he didn't score a place on a best list. So, for that reason, we'll happily admit to wanting to play third wheel with him and Kim Kardashian, even though we all know he just wants fish sticks.  More: Channing Tatum: Joe Manganiello is a Specimen Joe Manganiello Has Model's Legs Wrapped Around His Neck, Naturally Joe Manganiell: Wearing a Thong Felt Like a Wedgie

  • Eva Longoria, Diane Kruger & More: Best and Worst Dressed at Cannes 2012
By: Lindsey DiMattina May 18, 2012
It's not easy to decide what to wear to big events. As everyone from Gwyneth Paltrow to Lara Flynn Boyle knows, what seems like a good idea at the time can quickly turn into a fashion disaster. And, even with the help of their well-paid stylists, sometimes Hollywood A-listers fall prey to major wardrobe malfunctions (even sometimes of the Janet Jackson variety!). But, other times, the stars wow us with their glamorous and becoming selections on the red carpet. From Eva Longoria's stunning gown at the Moonrise Kingdom premiere to Diane Kruger's awkward shoe-string dress, these are the best and worst dressed (so far!) at the Cannes Film Festival 2012. • Donna Summer, Music Legend, Dies at 63
By: Lindsey DiMattina May 17, 2012
Donna Summer, a five-time Grammy Award winner, died on Thursday morning after losing her battle to cancer, TMZ reports. According to the report, the 63-year-old singer was in Florida when she passed away. Summer's family confirmed the sad news with a statement. "[We] are at peace celebrating her extraordinary life and her continued legacy," the statement reads according to USA Today. "Words truly can't express how much we appreciate your prayers and love for our family at this sensitive time." Summer first rose to fame in the 1970s disco era with songs like "Last Dance" and "Bad Girls." (Prior to breaking out on her own, the singer sang back up for Three Dog Night.) In the '80s, she released a slew of popular albums including She Works Hard for the Money, The Wanderer, and the self-titled Donna Summer Greatest Hits. In 2008, she came out with her first studio album in almost 17 years, called Crayons, which included titles "Stamp Your Feet" and "I'm a Fire." Summer's hits were famous for their sexually charged lyrics — content that clashed with her strict Christian upbringing. The musician didn't even have to sing words to make a controversial splash. In 1975, radio stations in the U.S. and oversees refused to play "Love to Love You Baby" due to Summer's suggestive groans in the song. Still, fans latched onto the catchy songs, and the singer became a favorite in discos across the country. Not to mention on reality shows. In recent years, Summer participated as a guest judge on both America's Got Talent and Platinum Hit, and has seen her songs played on series like So You Think You Can Dance and American Idol. (She even sang on America's Got Talent with Prince Poppycock, who issued the following statement about Summer to Hollywood.com: "It's with a heavy heart to hear of Donnna Summer passing today. She was incredibly gracious to me with her time and advice. I still have her number in my phone for a lunch date we were to have in the future when our schedules permitted. I'll always cherish our time together , and forever treasure the memory of our duet. Heaven has one more singing angel.") Summer was also the first artist ever to have three back-to-back double albums reach No. 1 on the US Billboard chart. She also boasted four No. 1 singles within a period of 13 months. [Photo Credit: DonnaSummer.com] More: Chuck Brown Dies at 75 Bobby Brown Sings about Whitney Houston's Death
  • 'Godfather of Go-Go' Chuck Brown Dies at 75
By: Lindsey DiMattina May 17, 2012
Chuck Brown, who was often referred to as "the Godfather of Go-go," passed away at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Md. on Wednesday. The 75-year-old guitarist/singer's manager confirmed to the Washington Post that Brown — who had been suffering from pneumonia — died from complications of sepsis (a severe illness where large amounts of bacteria overwhelm the bloodstream). Brown earned his "Godfather" nickname by commanding the "go-go" style of funk music (developed around Washington, D.C.) in the mid-1970s. He started his style so that it could compete with the overpowering influence of the era's favored disco music. His most famous song, "Bustin' Loose," recorded with his group, the Soul Searchers, topped the R&B Charts in 1978.  “As long as I can walk up on that stage, I want to make people happy," Brown once said, reflecting on his career. "I want to make people dance.” [Photo Credit: WindMeUpChuck.com] More: Billy Bob Thorton: 'I Wasn't Good Enough' for Angelina Jolie Buff Bagwell Back 'at Home' After Terrible Car Crash
