• Jessica Simpson Flashes Enormous Boobs on Twitter — Again
By: Michelle Lee December 28, 2012 6:59am EST
Jessica Simpson is arguably best known for a handful of things: Chicken of the Sea, Newlyweds, shoes, Daisy Duke and, let's face it, boobs. And as her presence on Twitter has grown, so have her infamous overshares. The 32-year-old star, who announced her latest pregnancy via Twitter, of course a few days ago, tweeted a revealing pic of her pregnant cleavage while on vacation in Hawaii on December 27. Her signature cowboy hat, makeup-free smile, and what's this? One big bikini-clad boob coming out to say hello. But it's certainly not the first time Jessica's flaunted her ample assets on Twitter. Remember this porny post-baby pic in June, in which she questioned "Street legal?" And her family Halloween pic featured poultry, pigtails and, of course, a pushup bra. Should Jessica Simpson just cover up already? [Photos: Twitter] Follow Michelle on Twitter @HWMichelleLee More: Holy Boobs! • Kings of Leon Baby Boom! Nathan Followill Tweets About New Daughter
By: Michelle Lee December 28, 2012 2:48am EST
Kings of Leon drummer Nathan Followill and singer-songwriter wife Jessie Baylin, 28, welcomed their first child, a healthy baby girl on December 26. The 33-year-old new dad tweeted about their happy arrival, on the 27th: "I can proudly announce the birth of my sweet angel Violet Marlowe Followill. My heart has been stolen and it feels so good." The baby was born in Nashville at 4:01 pm, weighing 7 pounds, 13 ounces, says a rep for the Grammy-winning "Sex Is on Fire" band. Violet is the latest addition to the band's Followill family, with singer Caleb Followill welcoming daughter Dixie Pearl in June with his model wife Lily Aldridge and guitarist Matthew Followill welcoming son, Knox Cameron, last May. The band canceled their U.S. tour due to exhaustion last year. With so many babies and a new album expected next year, try and get some sleep, guys. • Rob Pattinson Clones: Men Get Plastic Surgery to Look Like 'Twilight' Star
By: Michelle Lee December 27, 2012 8:44am EST
"I'll take his jaw and his eyes..." Earlier this year, Robert Pattinson was named the "World's Sexiest Man" by Glamour magazine in the UK. And, apparently, women aren't the only ones checking out that brooding face. According to a new British poll, men are flocking to the plastic surgeon to look like the 26-year-old Twilight star. Pattinson topped the list for most requested jaw, while Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton's nose took top honors for the ladies, according to figures released by Transform Medical Group. Meanwhile, Zac Efron's eyes and hairline, Ryan Gosling's lips, Ashton Kutcher's cheeks and Nicole Scherzinger's lips rounded out the list. Still, next year, we're totally pulling for Gollum eyes. [Photos: Wenn] More: Should Robert Pattinson Get Back Together With Kristen Stewart? • Real-Life Captain America? Military Fears Mutant Soldiers. Really.
By: Michelle Lee December 26, 2012 12:06pm EST
Captain America, Hanna and the Bourne super-spies: Uncle Sam Wants You? Many of Hollywood's most popular superheroes and spies have been built on a seemingly fantastical leap of faith: through genetic modification or special serum, they're given super-strength, enhanced mental acuity, lightning-quick reflexes and incredible speed. Captain America goes from weakling to warrior with a serum and a zap of "vita-rays," Jeremy Renner depends on those green and blue pills ("Chems!") in The Bourne Legacy and Saiorse Ronan's bad-ass teenage superspy in Hanna is genetically engineered to have “high intelligence, muscle mass, and no pity." GALLERY: 15 Sexiest Superheroes But these superpowers aren't as sci fi as they seem. In fact, military scientists around the world are pushing toward a future that includes human biological modification, or "biomods." A new Wired.com story features Andrew Herr, a 29-year-old researcher, who's urging the U.S. military to invest in biomods. Herr studied gene therapy, hormones, injections and other treatments, and believes that American troops could one day be aided by man-made "mutants." So far, the U.S. government has been extremely reluctant, even fearful, of jumping in headfirst but some experts believe that other countries like Russia and China will make a bigger, faster play for biomods. GALLERY: 15 Villains We Like Better Than Heroes Of course, there are the potential risks. One possibility, says Herr, is that biomods could be weaponized and used as a genetic sneak attack. In other words, enemies could be genetically modified without even knowing it. Basically, Magneto's plan from X-Men could totally happen. And if there's one thing movies and TV have taught us, it's don't mess with nature: zombie apocalypse, anyone? Follow Michelle on Twitter @HWMichelleLee You Might Also Like: 20 Hottest Bikini Bodies of 2012: Miley and More! • Real-Life Fruit Ninja: How Bizarre YouTube Video Hit 10 Million Views
By: Michelle Lee December 24, 2012 3:18am EST
With news of an Angry Birds movie and animated series on the way, would it be any huge surprise to see another popular video game like Fruit Ninja hit the big screen? Wait no longer, sort of. Youtube filmmmaker Scott Winn (one half of dubstep duo Scott and Brendo) created a look at what a live-action Fruit Ninja film might look like. And the bizarre, funny clip has garnered over 10 million views so far. What made it such a hit? The creators went to great pains to show their mohawked "ninja" expertly slicing and dicing dozens of flying pomegranates, kiwis, pineapples, bananas, even pumpkins, bombs and — a kitten? Add in some trippy dubstep music, cool slow-mo camera work, and you've got yourself a hit. Watch the crazy clip here. Warning: Real fruits (but not kittens) were harmed in the making of this film. And check out the behind-the-scenes featurette here: Follow Michelle on Twitter @HWMichelleLee MORE:Angry Birds Flocking to Big and Small Screen Rovio Launches An 'Angry Birds' Movie'Angry Birds' Will Become An Animated Series You Might Also Like: 20 Hot (and Horrifying) Movie Sex Scenes 10 Crazy Pop Culture Gingerbread Houses
• Psy Interviewers Hilariously Avoid Anti-American Scandal — VIDEO
By: Michelle Lee December 08, 2012 6:00pm EST
Talk about an elephant in the room. Just days after scandal broke out over Psy's past lyrics to "Kill Those F**king Yankees," the "Gangnam Style" performer appeared at Miami radio station Y100's Jingle Ball concert on Saturday. While interviewing the K-pop star, two radio DJs tried their best to keep the mood light, not even referring to the scandal once. And you've got to feel for the poor guys, who may have been asked to keep things positive by his publicist or their bosses or just wanted to keep the peace themselves. Controversy reached a boiling point just a day earlier when critics were calling for the Korean rapper to be banned from an upcoming performance at the White House. (It was later reported that he would indeed perform despite criticism.) But for the Miami show, it was business as usual. As a result, here's a taste of the "revelations" to come out of the interview: 1. Psy likes to eat kimchi and white rice. 2. He can bunk with one of the DJs if he comes back. 3. He'll spend New Year's Eve (his birthday) in New York. 4. His twins don't realize he's famous. 5. It's warm in Miami. Watch the Y100 interview below! What do you think: Should the interviewers have thrown him a secret hardball? Or was it just a case of wrong place/wrong time? • Revealed! Megan Fox Unfairly Skinny, Sexy 10 Weeks After Baby
By: Michelle Lee December 08, 2012 4:50pm EST
Megan Fox is the girl who everyone loves to hate in Hollywood: freakishly genetically blessed yet often seen as rude or clueless because of her blunt honesty. (Remember her crazy Michael Bay tirade?) Well, Anti-Foxites, get ready to hate her even more. The This Is 40 and Transformers star made her first red carpet appearance just 10 weeks after the birth of her son, Noah Shannon Green, at a March of Dimes event in Beverly Hills on Friday. And the 26-year-old Armani underwear model and actress looked hot. Really unfairly hot. After weathering some criticism for being too thin in recent years, it seemed like all of that pesky pregnancy weight miraculously migrated into just the right places. But don't expect her to be flaunting it onscreen anymore. Fox told the UK's Mirror recently that having little Noah (with husband Brian Austin Green) has transformed how she views her job. "It changes your perspective about being overly sexual in a film when you have a baby," she said. "I’m going to be more cautious about choosing films because I’m already thinking about when he’s in school and his friends are going to be showing him my photo shoots with me in a bikini and he’s going to be horrified." • Chris Brown's Twitter Victim Jenny Johnson Gains 20,000 Followers
By: Michelle Lee November 26, 2012 1:09pm EST
A day after her epic, vulgar Twitter feud with Chris Brown, comedian Jenny Johnson is battling death threats and cuckoo racist allegations. But she's also gaining a boatload of new Twitter followers. This morning, she had about 310,000 followers but, within eight hours, she had gained more than 23,000. For the most part, fellow CB-haters are tweeting their support to their new hero, who didn't back down, even after the singer said he wanted to fart on her and s**t on her retina. (He's a creative one, that Chris Brown.) But she's also getting gems like this replied to her: Best @ replies today:1. Who dis bitch need hop off CB dix!2. She b 50 old eat dic fuh.3. Ima fux dis bitch n da err4. Breeezy b up hoe — Jenny Johnson (@JennyJohnsonHi5) November 26, 2012 For his part, Brown returned from his self-imposed Twitter timeout after deleting his account and trying to convince fans that he was the one taking the higher road. "To teambreezy ... Know that I'm not upset. Just felt like entertaining the ignorance," Brown wrote. "Further proved my point of how immature society is." Johnson isn't new to the world of Twitter controversy. In May, the comedy writer, who's based in Texas, wrote a story for GQ called, "How to Whore Out On Twitter Without Really Trying" (she had just 200,000 followers at the time). Her tips included: "Keep it sassy and sexual. Nothing is off-limits...Occasionally talk about your child and how late his or her father is with child support payments. Always refer to people as "bitches," because it's imperative that you let your followers know how useless and lousy they are. Tweet about drinking, how much you drank, what you drank, how s**t-faced you like to get, and how badass everyone at your local bar thinks you are. Tweet about sports. Call out players for having a bad game. Tell the players what play they should have run, or what you would have done in their situation, even though you are an awful athlete. Then, quote rap songs." Hey, GQ, it's time to hit Jenny up for an update. Methinks she'll have a lot to talk about. Follow Michelle on Twitter @HWMichelleLee More: Chris Brown Makes NSFW Poop-Related Insults, Deletes Twitter Account Rihanna’s Controversial Tweet: In Bed with a Shirtless Chris Brown Chris Brown Avoids Jail After Drake Bar Fight: Winning Again? • Anna Nicole Smith's Daughter Dannielynn, 6, Channels Mom in GUESS Ad
By: Michelle Lee November 26, 2012 11:47am EST
In her lifetime, Anna Nicole Smith was a lot of things: an actress, reality star, tabloid cover girl, young wife, courtroom s**t-stirrer, and a model. But the star, who died of an accidental drug overdose in 2007 at age 39, was arguably in her heyday as a GUESS model. The brand hired Smith to replace supermodel Claudia Schiffer in 1992 and she appeared in its sexy ads through 1993. Now, 20 years later, her 6-year-old daughter Dannielynn Birkhead is following in her mother's footsteps, modeling for a new GUESS Kids campaign. And she's a chip off the old block in the gorgeous ads, which will begin appearing in magazines, on billboards and on buses in January. Creative director Paul Marciano says of the brand's first "second generation GUESS girl that Dannielynn has the "same playful spirit" that her mother would carry onto a set. Dannielynn's father, photographer Larry Birkhead, adds that his daughter bears more than a passing resemblance to her mom, who died just months after the little girl was born. "She could light up a room," Birkhead recently recalled of Smith. "And how her daughter's taken her place and she's lighting up every room that she goes into, trust me. I feel it every day." [Photos: Guess] More: Private Practice star to play Anna Nicole Smith in TV biopic Anna Nicole Smith’s Daughter Asks: ‘Why Did Mommy Die?' • Chris Brown Avoids Jail After Drake Bar Fight: Winning Again?
By: Michelle Lee November 24, 2012 7:56am EST
For months (even years) after his brutal 2009 beating of then-girlfriend Rihanna, R&B singer Chris Brown was Hollywood's Public Enemy No. 1. His blatantly remorseless attitude, shirt-ripping morning show freak-outs and overall belligerence rubbed people the wrong way (go figure!). But over the past year, the 23-year-old has slowly started succeeding again, despite some rather public detractors. The latest triumph? Authorities have concluded their investigation into the June 14 bar fight between Brown and his rival, Drake. Investigators have determined that neither will face criminal charges as the result of an alleged nightclub brawl, reports TMZ. Sources indicate that there was not enough evidence to move forward with charges and that the surveillance video in the club where the musicians and their entourages allegedly hurled bottles at one another was so dark and blurry that authorities couldn't make any use of it. PHOTOS: TV Characters Who Should Contribute to the Douchebag Jar Also, this weekend, Brown reunited with his on-again, off-again girlfriend, Rihanna, after she flew to Berlin, Germany to watch him perform on Thanksgiving Day and joined him for the after-show party at a nightclub. The pair were photographed getting into a car together and Rihanna posted on Twitter.com, "All alone in my big ole (sic) jet!!! See u soon lover … Happy Thanksgiving everyone … Berlin. Carpe Diem (Brown’s world tour)." And the good news doesn't end there. Earlier this month, Brown signed a modeling contract with Wilhelmina International agency. And his high-profile performances at this year's Grammy and Billboard Awards have drawn criticism but also publicity and helped propel album sales for the singer. What do you think, readers: Is the Breezy hatred starting to disappear?
