The celebrity mugshot is the ultimate truth-teller: no Photoshop magic, no special lighting, no fancy makeup trickery.
But every once in a blue moon, a celebrity manages to crack the code and doesn't look like a hot mess. The latest? 'Iron Chef' Cat Cora.
No bloodshot eyes here. Instead, we've got lipgloss, camera-ready hair, mascara, even gorgeous catchlights in her eyes.
Although she did have an advantage. The 'Around the World In 80 Plates' star was cited for one count of DUI and one count of driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 or higher on June 17. But she didn't take her mugshot that day.
Cora, 44, returned to the Santa Barbara police station 11 days later for a make-up photo. Hey, no fair!
She's certainly not the only celeb to look surprisingly hot in her mugshot. Remember Lindsay Lohan's pretty mugshot, Paris Hilton's and Nicole Richie's?
So the lesson here is: Always. Be. Prepared.

While everyone else's kids are scribbling on SpongeBob and Cinderella, my super-cool kids are going to be coloring a totally different kind of character tonight: Bill Murray. That's right, moms and dads, the star of such greats as Moonrise Kingdom, Caddyshack and Ghostbusters, now has his very own coloring book.
An amazing 23 images were created by 23 different illustrators, the book's editor Mike Coley at Belly Kids in the UK tells Hollywood.com. So why focus on the 61-year-old actor?
"The book grew out of a genuine love for Bill Murray, of his films but also the myth which surrounds him," Coley says.
"Discovering the films of Bill Murray was one of the biggest pleasures as a young boy," he adds. "I laughed with — or at — him in the early years and now I cry with him... I don't think there is a person alive who doesn't know of Bill Murray or one of his films. He's a deity, fully sized."
Check out some of the images from the book, inspired by a great actor who's never colored inside the lines:

You've got to love artists these days. With the advent of the interwebs, today's pop art is no longer Warhol's soup cans. It's Chicks With Steve Buscemi Eyes and Photoshop jobs of celebs looking fat and old.
Artist Danny Evans, of Planet Hiltron, has an amazing new one. Evans created an image of celebrity couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West 20 years in the future (kind of like Lea Thompson in Back to the Future). He recently told the Daily Mail that he "presents them as duller versions of themselves — maybe a little frumpier, heftier or a little plainer."
But it's not the first time Kardashian has had her look changed in the name of "art." Remember this E! special Secret Celebrity with Nick Lachey? The reality star wore a homely prosthetic face and fooled fans. Check out the clip below (skip to the halfway point unless you want to watch a disguised Nick Lachey stripping):

Another day, another bizarre lawsuit for Justin Bieber.
A fan's mom is suing the "Boyfriend" singer, claiming she suffered permanent hearing loss after going to his show in 2010 in Portland, Oregon.
Now, the plaintiff, Stacey Wilson Betts, is demanding $9.23 million in damages (that's $4.6 million per ear!).
We've seen the legal documents and the case is pretty entertaining. Here, 5 of the craziest bits from the official papers:
1. The "victim": Betts says she now suffers from tinnitus and hyperacusis, which cause her "anxiety, loss of sleep and depression."
2. The "crime": She claims that Bieber "created a wave-like effect of screaming by pointing into various sections of the arena."
3. The "weapon": A heart-shaped gondola (What is this, Pepe Le Pew?). Betts alleges that the injury happened when "Justin Bieber climbed into a heart-shaped, aluminum/steel gondola and was pulled over the crowd....the gondola acted as a sound conductor creating a sound blast that permanently damaged both of my ears."
4. The "motive": The singer was clearly on a wild, reckless mission...to please fans. "Then [he] enticed the crowd into a frenzy of screams by continuously waving his arms in a quick and upward motion, whereas I was struck with a sound blast."
5. The "accomplices": Bieber's record label, Island Def Jam, his manager, promoter, and the venue, The Rose Quarter, are also named in the suit.
What do you think? Will the Biebs get away scot-free? Should all people over the age of 20 be given earplugs at his future shows?

Glass ceiling? What glass ceiling?
All three of the main stars of Twilight made it onto the new Forbes Highest-Paid Stars Under 30 but it was ladies first as Kristen Stewart smoked her male co-stars in earnings.
Stewart brought in an impressive $34.5 million last year, while Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner both earned $26.5 million. Not too shabby for any of them. But how did the 22-year-old actress manage to earn an extra $8 million on the side?
While most of her cash came from Twilight, she also starred in another huge blockbuster this year, Snow White and the Huntsman. Meanwhile, Pattinson had the low-budget Bel Ami which opened in only 8 theaters. And Lautner's 2011 ill-received action movie Abduction only took in $82 million at the box office. A Snow White sequel was confirmed last month, and although Stewart hasn't officially confirmed she'll return to the role, she'd definitely earn a pretty penny for part deux. That's going to buy a lot of hoodies and Converse. Will anyone ever say the names Rihanna and Chris Brown in the same breath without thinking about that awful now-infamous 2009 beating?
The complicated, dysfunctional pair may never live it down — and they've only really added fuel to the fire through the years, breaking up and making up and breaking up again.
But today, Rihanna finally got a little more payback. Brown's new album Fortune debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart selling 134,000 copies in its first week. But...
Compare that to Rihanna, whose latest album Talk That Talk hit stores in December, selling 197,040 in its first week. That's 63,040 more copies for RiRi.
Now, that's a battle we can get behind. More: Rihanna Misses Her Butt and Can't Stop Talking About It Drake, Chris Brown to Duke It Out in the Ring for $1 Million? Chris Brown Contacts NYPD After Alleged Drake Attack — REPORT
Chris Brown is number one at a lot of things: acrobatic break-dance moves, ripping off his shirt on morning television, getting in bar fights with singing rappers.
But now, he's number one at something else, too. The R&B singer's new album Fortune hit number one on the Billboard 200 chart selling 134,000 copies. That would sound incredible, except his arch-nemesis, Drake, is ruining everything again.
Drake's latest album Take Care debuted with earth-shattering first-week sales of 631,000 in late December — that's 370 percent higher.
What's up? All of Brown's personal drama (see, all press is not good press) might be turning off fans. His last album, 2011's F.A.M.E.,topped the charts with 270,000 copies sold in its first week. That's a 50-percent drop for Fortune.
Guess we know who's winning this fight.

Anthony Sedlak, a beloved Food Network star in Canada, has died suddenly at the age of 29.
Sedlak, who was called the Jamie Oliver of Canada, was found dead in his Vancouver apartment on Friday. His grieving family released a statement today blaming an undiagnosed medical condition. Described as a vibrant and friendly person, the young chef was just tweeting about American cheesesteaks several weeks ago and joking around with fans. Thanks to his incredible on-screen presence and welcoming personality, his rise to fame was quick. At 24, he competed in Food Network Canada's “Superstar Chef Challenge.”Then in 2007, he was named the host of "The Main," which had a successful four-season run. He said in an 2009 interview: "I grew up at the foothill of a local ski resort here in North Vancouver. At 13 my mom (I love her!) encouraged me to get a job at the resort, knowing that it came with a free snowboard pass. And so I did...Needless to say I was a happy boy."
The family is planning a private funeral service for Sedlak in Vancouver.

We already know that Brad Pitt likes a strong woman (she may be skinny but Angelina could snap his limbs off and eat them for breakfast).
And that's apparently just how his family rolls. After his mother's diatribe against gay marriage and President Obama, we have a better idea of the inner workings of the Pitt household.
Now, his younger brother, Doug Pitt, is speaking out about Jane Pitt's very public declaration.
"You know, I think moms and dads and kids agree to disagree all over the world. So why would our family be any different?" he told the Today show this morning. "There can be healthy discussion when people disagree with you."
On Friday, Jane's letter to The Springfield News-Leader, captured national attention, describing Obama as a "liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage."
The younger Pitt explains that their family may not see eye to eye on all issues but they know not to cross the fine line between debate and ugliness. "The bad thing is when it turns to venom and negativity, and we don't have that in our family," he continued. "It's open discussion. We can learn from each other and, if anything, it solidifies your point. Or maybe you learn something."
And Brad and Angie have definitely learned something: do not invite mom over when Clooney's around.

Spoiler warning: The man leaving tonight is...
Emily Maynard sent Sean Lowe packing on tonight's episode of The Bachelorette. The final two guys are Arie and Jef. Who will she choose? Stay tuned for our full recap! Original story: It's coming down to the wire, Bachelorette fans. And it's anyone's game to win — or lose. But Sean Lowe just might be blowing it. On a preview of tonight's episode posted on People.com, the insurance agent grapples with those three words every woman wants to hear: I love you. "The love that I'm experiencing with Emily is quite different than the love that I've had in the past," he says. "So desperately I just want to open up and tell her how I really feel which is 'I love you.' It's hard to say those words and it's always been hard." For the record, he has no problem saying the words to a producer in his interview package but when he's face-to-face with Emily on the beach, the L word is downright stuck on his uvula. And he reverts to tween girl lip-biting. But he does manage to eke out an, "Um, oh, um." Not so smooth, Sean, considering both of the other guys, Arie and Jef, have been pretty effusive with Emily. Jef gushed about Emily to us recently, saying that if daughter Ricki "is anything like Emily, then she has an amazing head on her shoulders ... she is an amazing, amazing girl." Come on, Sean, we're rooting for you. Suck it up and say those three little words. Your beautiful blond future babies are counting on you.
