Today, we’re sharing our favorite HollyGOOD couples whose on-screen flings made them fall in love IRL!

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds

One of Hollywood’s most beloved couples, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, first met while filming the 2011 film Green Lantern. Ryan starred as Hal Jordan in the movie and Blake played his love interest Carol Ferris.

The pair began dating after shooting the film and got married in September 2012. Ever since, Blake and Ryan have become known for their couples banter on social media. In a recent interview with People, Ryan Reynolds said, “My wife [Blake Lively] trolls the crap out of me. Why would I go online? I’ve got it right here at home.”

Who could forget when Blake wished Ryan a happy birthday on Twitter by posting a photo focusing on Ryan Gosling?

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have 3 daughters together: James, Inez, and Betty. The couple doesn’t share much about their children on the internet, but are quick to show love and support toward each other on their socials.

Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar

Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar started their family in 2002. The couple first met while filming the 1997 horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer, in which they played 2 teens in the same friend group.

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. began dating in 2000, then became engaged in April 2001 while shooting the live-action movie Scooby Doo. In the 2002 film, Freddie plays Fred and Sarah Michelle plays Daphne, who are romantically linked in the story. They reprised their roles in the 2004 sequel Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed.

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr. later voiced love interests in the 2006 animated film Happily N’Ever After. The couple welcomed their first child, Charlotte, in 2009 and their younger child, Rocky, in 2012!

Kimberly J. Brown and Daniel Kountz 

This 1 is for every ‘90s and early 2000s kid who grew up on Disney Channel original movies! Kimberly J. Brown and Daniel Kountz both starred in the television movie Halloweentown II: Kalabar’s Revenge. Kimberly plays teen witch Marnie who meets Daniel’s character, Kal, at a Halloween party.

Kal tries to work his charm on Marnie to steal her grandmother’s spell book and get revenge for his father who Marnie’s family defeated in the previous film. Marnie regrets ever falling for Kal and must work with her grandmother in order to save both Halloweentown and the mortal world.

In a TikTok video explaining her relationship with Daniel Kountz, Kimberly J. Brown said that she and Daniel became friends while working on the film, but didn’t reconnect until a decade or so later. Kimberly reached out to Daniel to create comedy sketches for her YouTube channel and the 2 unexpectedly fell in love!

We love a good enemies to lovers story!

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis 

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis starred in That ‘70s Show from 1998 to 2006. Ashton Kutcher’s character Michael Kelso and Mila Kunis’ character Jackie Burkhart date throughout the series. However, Ashton and Mila didn’t get together until long after the show ended.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis became engaged in 2014 and were married in 2015. The couple welcomed their first child, Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher, during their engagement in October 2014, and their second child, Dimitri Portwood Kutcher, was born in November 2016.

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis reside with their children in a farmhouse style home in Los Angeles, which they shared with Architectural Digest in August 2021.

Zendaya and Tom Holland 

While they’re not an official couple, Zendaya and Tom Holland have made headlines recently as the pair are rumored to be dating! The Marvel co-stars first starred together in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) and played love interests in Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019).

Dating rumors sparked between Zendaya and Tom Holland after the first time they shared the screen in 2017, but the duo was quick to dispel these rumors. Fans have been speculating that the pair is an item as they have been spotted together publicly and even attended a wedding together!

Time will tell whether these 2 are dating or not, but we can’t wait to see Zendaya and Tom Holland reprise their roles as MJ and  Spider-Man in the upcoming film Spider-Man: No Way Home!

Ben Platt and Noah Galvin

Broadway stars Ben Platt and Noah Galvin didn’t meet playing on-screen love interests; their love story is a bit more unique. Noah Galvin took over the role of Evan Hansen in the musical Dear Evan Hansen after Ben Platt finished his run in 2016!

When Ben appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show in June 2021, he shared that he and Noah have been friends for 5 years and that they began dating in 2020 before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Ben said that his song “Imagine” is about Noah and the way that he made the boringness of lockdown feel “magical” and “exciting.”

Madelyn Cline and Chase Stokes co-star in one of Netflix’s most popular teen dramas, Outer Banks. In the first season of the show, their characters Sarah and John B have somewhat of an enemies to lovers storyline, coming from 2 very different backgrounds but yet falling in love with each other.

Madelyn and Chase made their relationship Instagram official in June 2020, about 2 months after Outer Banks started streaming on Netflix. They have since been very public about their relationship, sharing photos to social media and talking about their love life in interviews.

In September 2020, Madelyn Cline and Chade Stokes played love interests in the music video for Kygo’s rendition of the Donna Summer song “Hot Stuff.”

Leighton Meester and Adam Brody

Leighton Meester and Adam Brody first met while filming the rom-com The Oranges in 2010. Leighton played Nina, who shows interest in Adam’s character Toby before falling for someone else.

The pair went on to co-star in Life Partners (2014) and in the sitcom Single Parents. Leighton Meester and Adam Brody became engaged in 2013 and got married in 2014. They welcomed their daughter Arlo Day Brody in August 2015 and a son in September 2020.

The couple has kept their family life rather private, but they are quick to support each other publicly on their social media accounts!
