Beyoncé’s New Video Fights Childhood Obesity

In Beyoncé‘s newest video that is curiously not the video to her new single “Girls (Who Run The World),” we find Miss B in neon knee-highs and doing the running man in a cafeteria at lunch time, next to some children to the tune of “Move Your Body.” The song was recorded to promote Michelle Obama’s childhood obesity campaign and is obviously a re-worked version of her previous hit, “Get Me Bodied.” In just over four minutes, Beyoncé goes through a series of 8 moves designed to make the trip up to the salad bar for carrot sticks look a lot cooler, which they actually do. But they also get kids thinking about how long the fluorescent lights in their cafeterias have been undercover strobe lights.
