Brit Awards bosses are reportedly hoping pop star Billie Eilish will debut her James Bond theme song at the 2020 ceremony.
The 18-year-old singer is nominated for the BRITs’ International Female Solo Artist prize and will take to the stage during the show at London’s O2 Arena on February 18.
Eilish was recently revealed as the artist behind the theme to new 007 movie, No Time to Die, and organisers are apparently keen to have the star unveil the track during the prizegiving.
A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: “Some of the biggest artists of the last year are signed up.
But bosses feel Billie is a coup now she has been confirmed as singing the theme for the next Bond film.
“They see it as the perfect opportunity to unveil the song and know it will be must-see TV, because everyone wants to hear it.”
The insider added: “It has been a secret for weeks though, so only now can they have the discussions about whether she will perform that or something else.”
Lewis Capaldi and Dave lead the acts competing for honors, with four nods apiece, with Stormzy on three nominations. Fellow nominees Harry Styles and Mabel will also take to the stage at the ceremony.
No Time to Die will debut in cinemas in April (2020).
