Caitlyn Jenner Opens Up About Her Dating Troubles: “No Man Will Date Me”

Caitlyn Jenner admits she can’t imagine any man wanting to date her because of the intense scrutiny she attracts.

Speaking during Sunday’s (06Mar16) season two premiere of the I Am Cait reality show, the 66-year-old star opened up about the intense speculation that surrounds her every move, which she expects will also affect her romantic relationships.

During a bus tour she took with her close friends actress Candis Cayne and writer Jennifer Finney, the women spoke candidly about everything from politics to dating.

Speaking about her love life during the show, she says, “I can’t even imagine some guy going out with me and then being absolutely scrutinised by the tabloids.”

“Can you imagine if I actually had a date and walked out of a movie theatre on a quiet Wednesday night holding hands with somebody?,” she added.

Caitlyn, who was married three times before her transition, admitted that although she’s never been in a relationship with a man, she doubts she will ever date a woman again.

The 1976 Olympic gold medal-winner formerly known as Bruce Jenner, has six children from her marriages to ex-wives Chrystie Crownover, Linda Thompson and Kris Jenner.

But it wasn’t until last April (15) that the star came out as a transgender woman, changing her name to Caitlyn for a cover story in the July edition of Vanity Fair.

The star reveals the revelation has made it increasingly hard for her to maintain a normal life. “I think it would be really tough on me. It certainly would be tough on the guy,” the star admits.

“Like, ‘Why are you dating her? What are your motivations?’ It just gets so complicated… that I don’t know any guy who would want to go through something like that,” she adds.

Speaking on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, former wife Kris admitted it was “confusing” for her that Caitlyn wanted to date men, but expressed her support.

“I think that I really want her to be happy and be really comfortable in all the things where she says she wasn’t her true authentic self for most of her life,” she stated.

Season two of E! network show I Am Cait, airs in the US on Sundays and begins March 13th in the UK.
